My husband and I worked with this organization for 10 years — from overseas missionaries to serving on staff on Training staff and in PR department. We finally resigned after seeing a lack of professionalism, lack of accountability, innovation, evaluation, maturity, and leadership. So so so many red flags and an environment ripe for so many unhealthy things. I no longer in a good conscience can recommend the missionary training or joining the organization to anyone. In many ways, I felt like I left a cult. Thankfully, I believe God used our decade in ministry to sanctify us and to teach us — and that it was not a waste. It hurts me to see other people, and former colleagues, going through the same thing we did, so I wanted to raise awareness.

I came here on a mission trip in 2017 and it was one of the best weeks of my life. I loved staying in the apartments, visiting Jungle Camp, working on projects around the campus, and learning about the missionaries and their experiences serving God. I'm due to go back in a few days and I'm so excited! I can't wait to be back on the campus, working in the woods and with my friends. God is doing amazing things here. If I could give it 10 stars, I would still ask for more!

Ethnos Canada has been and is a ministry that values people and their ministry team. This was experienced first hand when my wife and I were invited to come to their campus for rest and refreshment. We were treated with respect and love and care. We felt appreciated and honored as a ministry couple. It was what we needed.We were also invited to share at one of their spiritual refreshment days. Again, our time there was exceptional. We saw the love and care the staff have for each student, and frankly each family on their campus. It was a delight to witness the Godly impact that Ethnos ministry had on students and had on us.I couldn't say enough good about this ministry.
