Ecoline Windows and Doors Kelowna

I would give Ecoline 0 star rating if it was possible. Things started out great with quotes and going through option and once it came to actual installation and communication they completely fell off the map. Windows and doors were supposed to be installed in March and they were until September. They cancelled the day of our installation 3 different times and when it finally did get installed, it is either incomplete or incorrect. They expect payment to be made in full before starting installation and then do an absolute horrible job and just walk away.The large living room window has large scratches, the screens were ripped and not even the correct sizing and the frame of the window is damaged in multiple spots.The door is not level and there's quite a large hole at the bottom where cold air can get in. The door has been installed for 3 months now with no trim on the outside of the door and the metal footplate is floating with nothing underneath, allowing water to seep underneath and into the house.I had to complain to the BBB to even get a response from this company and all they stated was things were in processing for new parts. That was almost 2 months ago with zero communication from the actual company.We've had one gentleman who is a contractor for the company even admit Ecoline is horrible. They take your money and run, the contractor that installed our project has quit and they know he's done an incomplete and unsatisfactory job, yet thry don't give a damn about their employees or their customers. This new contractor is literally going around putting out fires of the poor work performance of previous employees. We paid way too much money for things to be incomplete now for over 9 months. Well now be seeking legal repercussions against this company as I am tired of having to wait multiple hours on hold for no one to pick up, for lack of any sorta communication from the company about what the plan is or what's happening with our new parts/installation date and having to cons chase this company to do something they should have done in the first place.Buyer beware. I would absolutely not purchase anything from this company ever again.

Ecoline replaced the windows in my condo that faces directly onto the lakefront, exposed to full sun and wind.My 30 year old windows were double thermopane, fogging up at times and overdue for replacement. The main living room window had a rounded arch at the top with multiple panes. The new window is rectangular to explore the limits of the building framing, which opened up the view a lot, and an additional window was added. The view over the lake has been transformed.Ecoline suggested triple glazed windows, with coatings for summer and for winter.I was truly amazed at the difference. For example, a table next to the window was previously too hot to touch in the afternoon sun. With the new window, the table is only slightly warm. The windows themselves are now cool to the touch, and triple glazed windows have greatly diminished sound transmission from people passing by. Patio doors were custom made to replace old warped second story double doors: no more leaky drafts in the wind and the door itself glides easily.My unit was a test unit. After seeing the results, Strata then decided to have Ecoline replace all the windows in the building. Ecoline performed the overall project much faster than expected, and the results speak for themselves.My primary contact throughout was Joel. He has my thanks and respect for how the project has been carried out, and the crews working for him have been superb. Working late to finish the job to everyone's satisfaction was never a problem for them. We have further work now planned for Ecoline to replace doors to the balconies.

Buyer beware.It took weeks to even get a quote out of them. Problems everywhere from cancelling last minute to calling the wrong number and 'lost' emails.After numerous attempts at a phone call I asked if an email quote was possible if I sent measurements and pictures, and was told no. But when we finally received a phone call we were told that they couldn't do it over the phone and that they needed an email with pictures!They also asked to see another companies quote to 'work from' (no one every came to our house). They then proceeded to lie to about the details in the other quote (i.e. they don't replace the frame, the efficiency is low etc) which turned out to be at best completely false and at worst slanderous. (They tried to tell me that a part of the quote indicated low efficiency when it was just describing how far away our home was!).Lastly, the warranty is very fishy. Outsourced to a 1-800 number out east. I would recommend any other window company in the OK.

Terrific service from planning to install. I've had Ecoline out for two separate projects, replacing 10 windows and 3 sliding doors. The quality of their products have increased my home's efficiency, and they look stunning. And their pricing and payment plans make projects with them affordable.The sales and installation teams are very nice, with speedy service and installation, always putting the customer first. Would absolutely recommend Ecoline for your window and door projects. We'll definitely have them out again.

They even were able to reschedule me for the next week, completely hassle-free, when I wasn't feeling well a couple days before the scheduled install. They were efficient, polite, and cleaned up every bit of debris after! The windows themselves are solid quality, look great, and are already keeping my home warmer and my furnace running less. I was very impressed with the service we received from Ecoline. I have high standards for what I consider quality service and Ecoline is one of the best companies I have dealt with. Joel, the project manager, was outstanding. We only communicated via email, but he always answered my emails very quickly, answered all my questions, was professional but personal in his responses, and went out of his way to look for rebate options for us.I was not on site for the installation, but my husband was, and has written his own review for the installers, Sergio and Ivan. He said they did a great job.The project included the replacement of 5 windows on the lower floor of my dad's house and we are all very happy with the quality and look of the windows.

Ecoline Windows replaced 6 windows in my father-in-law's house. The installers, Sergio and Ivan, worked quickly and efficiently to remove the old windows and install the new ones. They clearly knew what they were doing, and were very polite and respectful during the entire process. They did a thorough job of cleaning up after the job and went over the features of the windows upon completion. Very pleased with the product, and impressed with installers.
