Driverseat Thunder Bay

Any time I have used Driverseat the service has been excellent. Their response time is great and they have never been late on the time they say they will be there. If anything they are early, but they never make you feel pressure that you have to leave the moment they arrive. Their pricing is great as I live 30kms out of the city. It would easily cost twice as much to get home in a cab, and then I would have to take a cab in the morning to get my vehicle. With Driverseat my vehicle is safe in my driveway in the morning!!! Great service.

What an absolutely fantastic service. As a Coachman and chaser for Driverseat I find the job very rewarding keeping our roads safe as one of the most important things late into the evening. I just love meeting new people they make the job that much easier great customers great company all around

Best way to get home after a night out. No having to leave your vehicle somewhere overnight. No having to wait for hours for one of the three taxis in Thunder Bay. And the price is the same if not better.

Third time using the service. First two times were great... this third time we used the app... received a confirmation text and the ride never came. After 30 minutes of waiting for the pick up, we called and the person on the phone said that they never received our booking. Unreliable... if we use this service again we will be calling 2/3 times to ensure our ride is still coming. We use this service to get our car home as we live rural... happy to pay the fee just looking for reliability. Would not have come to town if we knew we could not get our vehicle back home.

Stellar service! The drivers are very personable and kind. They must have to tolerate all kinds of people and they do such an amazing job dealing with each person so differently. The dispatcher even contacted me in advance that the driver would be a couple minutes late - which I was very happy with because I wasn't wanting to leave just yet ;)

I have used Drivers Seat a number of times to get myself and my car home safely and have always had a great experience. The last ride home I had this past weekend, I felt there was a discrepancy with what the ride cost. I asked the administrator to take a look and they also found a discrepancy and refunded a portion of the money to make the amount correct! Thanks so much! This is a terrific service, especially for faraway parents like me who have a kid in school in Thunder Bay and want to make sure that their kid gets to and from the airport safely and reliably for trips home. We booked the airport shuttle for my son’s first flight home yesterday. The driver arrived at my son’s residence at Lakehead right on time in a clearly marked vehicle, and my son was at the airport in no time. The app is easy to use, and payment is charged to the credit card that you enter when you set up the app, so no fussing with cash at dropoff. The app sends notifications to the passenger when the driver is on the way, and also when the driver has arrived at the pick-up location, so we had no worries that my son’s ride would not show up. Rides can be booked well in advance, which is also very convenient. Fares are reasonable, and if there are several students going to the airport at the same time, they can share a ride and split the fare. All in all, a great service, and we will definitely use it again.

I have been very pleased with this Thunder Bay operation. Punctual, clean vehicle, timely service, friendly drivers, obviously good management. Given Covid, there will always be glitches in everything so any concerns people have had should be considered in that context. This is a local business deserving credit for hanging in for several reasons. Why use a taxi?
