Railway Granville Bike Park
Not a bad bike park. Though it can get busy and watch out for kids and other people being in the way.

Fun little place for kids although it can get crowded. You wouldn't want to crash in this park as it's all concrete. There are a few gravel pits in the park that should be removed. The gravel gets kicked around all over the track and makes it a slippery hazard, especially on the slopes and turns.

Very small course that gets easily filled up with too many people. Not enough room to properly take/land jumps and everyone cycling/scooting in different directions. Safety is definitely an issue at this bike park. Really not thought out properly.

This place is a pretty fantastic pump track and intro to transition bowl skateboarding and (I guess) would be an OK place for scooters and rollerbladers alike, if it wasn't for the tiny rocks/pebbles that the city decided to fill up some areas with. Why not grass and trees, so people (when taking a break) could sit and enjoy some shade? Even leaving it as cement would have been better than putting in these d**n pebbles. They were scattered everywhere when I got there, so I swept part of the track so I could skate it, but it shaved off about an hour of my time. A friend of mine also said that the pebbles are dangerous for bikes, too, as they turn into marbles under the tires. As for it being a bike park... I don't understand why a bike park would be made out of cement but ok. That seems pretty dangerous. The old bike park on Dyke Trail that actual mountain bikers made with real dirt jumps was way better. This one has no seating area either, so if you are a parent or wanting to come watch someone, be prepared to stand. When I came (during a school day at about 2pm) it was completely empty, so well worth the sweep and a good skate, and I'll for sure be back with some friends. But for God's sake, fix the problem with the little rocks and install a bench or two!

Very good bike park. It can be crowded and some people will sit on one of the advanced bike courses, because they think people won’t be able to do it.

Great for kids as the bike park is not too big. We like the coloured lines since our child is beginner so he knew to just follow the line and one way direction keeps the bikers orderly. Benches around it. This is across the Thompson Burnett Community Park. However not shaded, street parking, closest washroom is across the street Thompson Community Center

If you are looking for a pump track, this is a decent one in Richmond. I would suggest a visit if you are in the area. Fully paved and there was some input on the development of the track by some people in the bike industry. The time I went it was not extremely busy, around late afternoon on Sunday. There are lots of younger children that use the track so you do have to be careful when getting up to speed. Make sure to share the track with everyone.I found it easy to get up to speed and quite easy to maintain speed or gain speed in some of the straight away sections. I didn't spend enough time to start mastering any transitions or gaps or jumps but for an experienced rider, I am sure there are lots of opportunities to double some of the rollers and get creative with various lines when the course is less crowded.I was skeptical at first as a lot of the information I read about this park indicated that it was quite small, which it can be if there are lots of people but if you can find some open track in non peak hours you will have a blast. There is also some man made wooden structures beside the track if you are interested in practicing riding north shore style. There are no dirt jumps or ramps at this park.
