Summerside Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Guelph by Jack Nathan Health

This was my first visit to this clinic. The receptionists were very friendly and efficient. They handled difficult clients with grace. I didn’t have to wait very long at all to see the doctor. Doctor was friendly. No hesitation in recommending this clinic.

This is one of the best walk-in clinics in Ontario. I have been to different walk-in clinics in Ontario and I had some negative experience with some of the walk-ins operating in Ontario. I took my parents to this clinic and did not have any issues seeing a doctor despite they were on visitor visas. The receptionist, Laurie, is really nice and very friendly. I was able to manage two appointments on the same day. Dr. Ihab Abdelmalek is just amazing. He went through all the medical documents my parents brought from home and did not rush. He is a great doctor-very knowledgeable and kind. He listens to his patients. There is no doubt about it. We would need more and more doctors like him and more and more clinics like Summerside across Canada.

Fantastic clinic! The doctor is quite good, efficient and has great bedside manner. The medical receptionist is friendly and a pleasure to speak with. The wait is roughly an hour long but you can do other things and come back once you’ve registered.

We showed up right before opening so there was a bit of a line up. I was there with my 7 year old who was in a lot of pain from a UTI. The receptionist was kind and empathetic while giving us realistic timelines which I appreciated.

We came in 25 minutes before closing time hoping to see a Dr. We were advised by the receptionist they have reached capacity, the waiting room was completely empty and the back rooms were silent. They refused to make an effort to help us and it seems like their main priority was to go home early. Extremely unprofessional and unethical, especially considering you’re in the healthcare industry.

I called the clinic to check on the status of the test I took the previous week here and the receptionist claimed that I never came in and didn't register properly. I only did everything she asked me to when I came in, and they did receive my sample with the label (including my name and all information on it). This was very important that I get these results back and for her to be so rude, dismissive and unapologetic was disgusting. I was perfectly nice on the phone and this treatment was shocking and apalling for a medical clinic. Please just go somewhere else because this place is a waste of time

Your front staff (blonde) is HORRIBLE! it says that the nasty behavior towards a staff won't ne tolerated. How about your staff being nasty? Any repercussions?

Responsive, polite, and friendly receptionist. Reasonable wait time. Very organized. The doctor took his time and was very patient. Excellent!

I've recently visited Summerside clinic 3 times, from my first visit to the third has been a great experience. The doctor answered every question I had, referred me to Guelph imaging, did follow up appointments and answered even more questions I had. The receptionist was great, really helpful and called me for the follow up appointments. I highly recommend this clinic

First time at this clinic, they only had one receptionist and one doctor so their wait time was very long. The receptionist was fairly nice and accommodating with the amounts of patients they had. I was not told upfront I could leave and come back so I waited half an hour before I asked how much longer the wait was, and the receptionist told me it was still an hour and a half but said I could come back later. Total 2 hour wait time. Wasted half an hour waiting but it’s fine. Ran some errands before returning and saw the doctor within 5 minutes. Waited another 10 minutes in the doctors office before I was greeted. The doctor was also fairly nice and professional. Overall everything was fine here, recommend to come early and check in as they do not accept phone appointments and we’re not taking any more patients after 1:00pm because of the large amount of people and wait times.
