IM A THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS PLACEI LIVE IN BARRIE AND I CALLED THE DAY BEFORE I VISITED SPRING TREE FARMS (I HAVE PURCHASED TREES FROM THEM IN THE PAST) I MENTIONED TO THEM THAY I LIVE IN BARRIE AND WANTED TO ENSURE THEY HAD A SPECIFIC TREE IN STOCKTHE GIRL WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE SAID SHE HAD 25 OF THE SMALLER TREE WHICH IS WHAT I WAS INTERESTED INWHEN I ARRIVED THERE THE NEXT DAY SHE LITERALLY SAID THAT SHE WAS THE ONE WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE AND THE ONLY ONES THEY HAD WERE THE LARGER ONES AT 600 DOLLARSSO WE WENT FRON 25 SMALLER TREES AT 25 TO THE LARGER ONES AT 600HER RESPONSE WAS OOPS SORRY BASICALLYESPECIALLY AT THIS TIME WITH COVID GOING AROUND AND I. A TIME OF SOCIAL MEADIS I WOULD THINK MOST BUSINESSES WOULD TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN THISAS IF AN APOLOGY FOR THIS MATTER IS SUFFICIENTWHAT A JOKE!!!!

I have been purchasing my trees from Spring Tree farm since they opened. They have a great selection of ornamental trees, a great birthday discount and the staff remember you and are truly very helpful. I've gotten so many unique specimen trees here, that I have never seen anywhere else. The owner has really great taste in flowering trees. Highly recommend them.As far as the bad reviews go, please understand that with plants and trees, you deal with live specimens, and live specimens cannot be completely controlled by humans. Some plants are easier to grow than others, some are more challenging to grow in our area or for novice gardeners. You can't blame Spring Tree Farm, if your plant did not survive. They buy many if their specimens from the same growers that other nurseries do. They provide a 1 year warranty on their plants and trees. Much of whether your plant survives depends on user error. Over the years I've killed many plants, despite my best efforts. With every plant that died, I gained a lot of knowledge about what I did wrong or could have done better by researching the symptoms and signs if a plant declines. And some plants and trees just have intermediate care needs that went beyond my scope of knowledge at the time. Gardening is a time and knowledge passion, it takes trial and error to get really proficient at understanding plants and trees and helping them flourish. Don't give up, keep researching and understanding your plants and you will find your losses get fewer and fewer over time.

Wish I had discovered Spring Tree Farm earlier. Great selection or excellent quality trees and shrubs. We picked up three Spruce trees and they transplanted well. Service was awesome and very knowledgeable. Will buy all my trees there from now on!

I gave 1 star because you can't give 0.I topsoil my lawn every year. This is the first time I tried Spring Tree Farm for my topsoil. Ordered five yards back in June. Now I have little to no grass, nothing but weeds, bare spots and crabgrass. Called in a professional to help me, says that I will need to spend anywhere from $400 to $1,000 just to start to get my lawn back! , and that doesn't offer any guarantees. He says it is most likely from the topsoil, which I didn't even think about until he mentioned it. Phoned Spring Tree Farm, the girl I spoke to told me she had a few other complaints about their topsoil and promised that a manager or owner would give me a call back. That was well over a week ago!I have not heard from anyone, and now I am stuck having to pay a lot of money to try and get my lawn back.Terrible product, terrible service will never use them again.!

I cannot believe some of the reviews I am reading here. (A special shout out to those people using ALL CAPITALS. Is that really necessary??) I have been dealing with them for years, and have always had a pleasant experience. I purchased several trees a few years back and also had them planted. Their service was professional from beginning to end, and my trees are beautiful! Staff is always friendly and helpful. It's my go to place for growing tips and I would not hesitate to purchase from them again!

Helpful and friendly staff. Great selection of trees of all sizes as well as smaller plants. Good prices on bagged and bulk soils and mulch. Always a pleasure

I bought a used tractor from Springs several years ago and they were great to deal with - and represented the equipment honestly. Great people - very helpful.

Bought two cherry trees and all dead after winter. Got new trees there and dead again after winter. Very bad attitude when asked them. Two years passed and got nothing with money, time and gas spent. Don't waste your time there.

I bought a couple of beautiful apple trees yesterday; healthy and bigger than any trees anywhere else for an excellent price. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I'll be back again! Thank you Spring Tree Farm.
