Never leave a feedback only after you move-in before you get a total picture of your total experience. I'd rate 3 stars based on my move-in experience only however.(1)Never got damage deposit returned. One red flag simply from contract dishonesty.(2)Wayne Meade the super of 131 Wentworth Dr. offers alternative cleaning service with cash payment only from outside of his management job of CCPM. Even though it's none of my business but a friend of mine is super interested in his business model, and he is a CRA agent. However, it's a red flag to me.(3) CCPM office ladies are either hard cold enough to tell you your application got reject, or cold hard enough to not welcome you regarding your moving in. I do know they are managing possibly 1000+ rental units in their system with very limited human resource. Sign of labor abuse from the leader, RED FLAG! All their stress will somewhat pass to the tenant during communication.3 red flags is enough for me to black-list a company.My best recommendation: Always rent from a small landlord that you can respect and you can get respect. Not too hard to find. I am done with any large multi-unit apartments rental company indefinitely. They all are on my black-list except their commercial space.

Reviews said it all! One of the worst property management companies in the country if not in the world!Very slow responses to emails/requests. People need to follow up 3, 4, 5 times to get a reply to an email or a message and when you call them they ask people to use email!!Communication and updates from office to risedents is taking aggressive approach and the tone is very unacceptable on all general communications they send to all risedents.I'm not certain if HQ is not seeing those feedbacks/reviews or they turn blind eye!Good superintendents never stay more than 2 or 3 months with the company and its clearly telling there is a management issues.All in all I do not recommend CCPM to anyone and will not enter in any agreement with them again.

If you want a property management group that speaks as if they're lecturing you at all times, run down units with improper maintenance completed, unimaginably slow resident managers and blatant attempts to take your damage deposit, this is the company for you!We were given a broken garage door fob as soon as we moved in and were told we had to pay $75 if we wanted a new one. At one point the patio door lock broke completely, we waited 18 months for it to be fixed; it never got done.If you have the displeasure of ever renting from this group be sure to take very, very detailed notes on your initial walkthrough. They will do anything possible to blame their lack of maintenance on you in order to keep your deposit. They refused to accept the receipt they asked for to prove the carpets were cleaned upon us moving out, only once we took it to the tenancy board did they back down and finally accept the thing that they asked for. They also charged us for their own resident manager taking our towel racks to fix" them

Sharing this review on behalf of my partner who has been renting a home from them for the past year - the management has been an absolute nightmare to deal with, they ignore calls and do not fix things. The lease agreement included water in the cost of rent. Today a notice was received that the water to the house was going to be shut off because the bill hadn’t been paid. They had not paid for water in over 4 months and seemed indifferent when the tenants contacted them confused, since they have always paid their rent in full and on time. In addition to that, the laundry machines in the home have both been broken for months and the company has been contacted multiple times and offered no solutions. Communication within the company seems to be a disaster. Each time an issue comes up, a different person needed to be contacted in order to get it dealt with. It is really unfortunate that the management has been so awful because it’s a lovely house and a great location. It’s just not worth the hassle of dealing with this awful company.

CCPM has horrible office people, not only do they say one thing they do the other, They wouldn't even give a phone call back regarding a break and enter but only sent a message with we only work on email. send $75 dollars for a new key fob. i don't care about the $75 but the lack of respect, empathy, or communication via phone, when messages are left to please call is a disgrace. I can't believe they are still in business. No wonder they have such a huge turnover.

The most awful and disgusting property company in Halifax, bad management and bad attitude of the staff. If you have a rental need, don't consider this company. In February, we planned to take over the old lease of our friend's unit, because their contract would expire in October, so she said we should pay the lease fee according to the same rent as theirs. And the former property manager of this company also told me so. But after I filled out the application form online, no one contacted me for three weeks. I called the front desk of the company and they told me they had a new property manager, but there was no notice online. I got in touch with the new property manager, but she told us that the rental rate had gone up by $200. We were confused because she was different from what the previous property manager told us. I sent an email to ask the manager about the reason, but her attitude was very bad and she didn't give me a reasonable explanation. At the First, she wanted to cancel my application, and then she directly rejected and denied my application after I continued to ask the reason. That's ridiculous! A few days later, I wanted to apply for another Unit of this company, but the property manager told me that she would not rent the Unit to me because I did not communicate well with her. The reason is absurd！！ We have a good credit and a stable job, but the property manager rejected our application because of her personal feelings.This property company is really too awful！ I hope they keep their eyes peeled when changing staff frequently and pick out the right person, not the one who can't even do their own job well!Although they have some good location apartments, their poor and irresponsible management must be very disappointing when you move in.Please think carefully about this property company!!!!!

Just no. Trust me. No. If you want to learn the legal process the hard way, rent an apartment from CCPM. They have bullied me, lied to me and are currently trying to evict me. I pay my rent and am silent (They probably want to increase rent). These people are awful, the landlord is a creep and they've cost me lost wages from stress and false accusations. I love it here. Not moving because this is MY HOME.

I don’t write negative reviews but with the housing crisis, people should be aware of who they are renting from.Out of all the places I’ve rented this was the worst PM company I’ve ever had to deal with. Everything the other reviewers discuss could not be any more accurate. Extremely unorganized, unprofessional and the communication is terrible. Unfortunately, like most, they are not concerned about their tenants, and they took it to another level for me. Additionally, any communication you have with them is not reliable. They have new managers every week and each one tells you something different.My piece of advice for any future renters is to be extremely careful, diligent and aware of any loop holes they can pass through.The current market allows landlords to easily exploit their tenants and that is exactly what CCPM does.
