My introduction to Christine began with the purchase of one of her pups. I had alway wanted a Belgian shepherd and it just happened that she was only five minutes away from where I lived. It took some convincing on my part for her to sell me a pup as they were the son of her world champion stud and she was only selling to sport and working homes. Well Hollywood was the third dog in the pack and as he grew it increasingly became a challenge to enjoy walking all three dogs at once. It wasn’t his fault but an accumulation of factors that weren’t be addressed in proper time. It went on until I was walking all three dogs separately just to enjoy my walk. One 2.5 hour session with Christine changed all that. She spent some of that time going over theory and the reminder was spent handling the dogs separately and together to teach me how to correctly recognize and correct behaviour before it escalated.It worked so well that I did what I said I would do when they were all good dogs, I added a fourth to the pack. Of course that just opened up a whole new can of worms and I found myself back at Christine’s this time with my newest puppy who had developed a tendency towards leash reactivity. She had that problem solved in about two minutes and we spent the remainder of the hour working on general obedience and reinforcing the lessons from early of staying calm and ignoring other dogs.I returned with my other yappy small dog for the same reason and we left with time still in the clock as there was nothing to do after one correction from Christine, all leash reactivity was forgotten about. We even went for a walk with her and Amber and my dogs didn’t care a bit.The extra time was added to my next visit where I brought all four dogs at once to teach them e-collar pairing. Having a pack of dogs changes then dynamic of how they behave when out as a pack and I needed a tool to control them while off leash more effective than yelling like a crazy person at a dog that clearly doesn’t care. E-collars gave me that control and the confidence that they will all come immediately when called and stay by my side off leash when told to heel. Dogs are pretty smart and it would seem so far (day 4 of E-collars) that they just need to know you have to ability to correct them regardless of where they are in order to behave and respond as they would on leash.I would recommend Christine’s training services to anyone who has a dog and wants to get more enjoyment out of their relationship with their dog. Once you as a handler can understand dog psychology you can put it to use.

I buy a lot of product from RuffDog and I've had an online coaching session with Christine . Very helpful coaching for my training in Igp and all of the product I have purchased from their store is great, still holding strong and of course, my dog loves them. Their ball on the string are much better than other competitors because it is not rough on your hands when the dog pulls. Highly recommended, the only I wish is that I was closer to get in person training.

Such amazing quality products! I purchased a Raddog bite pad, nylcot tugs, and ball tug. I have tried many types of ball tugs but they were often too heavy and hard for my dog, whereas the Raddog ball tug quickly became my dog's favourite. My purchase was also shipped within a day of ordering and arrived quickly to Alberta. Great service all around!

I recently purchased a bite wedge,ball on rope and the armpit pouch and love them all! Christine was so helpful to me when asking questions about protection work and the products I purchased! The armpit ball fits perfectly in place and is easy to precisely mark that perfect heel position! Bite wedge is great for helping with training my girls full grip!Thank you Ruffdog!

What a fantastic company ! The staff are just incredible and so helpful. Even though I called numerous times to ask questions about the collars for my Great Dane and Brazilian Mastiff, they were very happy to help me. I did not feel like I was shopping in the dark. Working with Christine has been wonderful. The quick and amazing lasting behavioral changes that we have observed in our 6 month puppy Rocky are formidable. He is more attentive, obedient, still a playful love bug and always excited to train and we are so looking forward to progress in protective training with him and Christine in the next few months. I have been working with Christine for the last year on pet and sport obedience for my 16 month GSD, Freddie. To say that she knows her stuff is an understatement – she is a consummate professional and clearly loves what she does. Christine is extremely generous with her time and knowledge - I have left all of my training sessions (whether it be in person or on Zoom) with a clear understanding of the things we are doing well, not so well, and what to do next. The results I’ve seen have been amazing – there is a steady improvement in our performance. Christine takes the time to understand the emotion and state of mind of my dog and uses that to bring more power and energy into our work.We have also done a two week Board and Train. Christine and her team were extremely communicative with how Freddie was doing (daily videos and photos) and I felt so comfortable leaving my dog in their care. The progress that was made in two weeks would have taken me months! The facilities that she has are spacious and clean – all the dogs have their own separate runs. As someone who avoids off leash parks and doggy “daycares” at all costs, I was relieved that Freddie did not have to interact with any other dogs unsupervised during his stay.The quality of all the products I have purchased from Ruff Dog Sports has been excellent.It’s been a real pleasure working on this hobby with a coach and mentor like Christine. Freddie and I are looking forward to getting our BH in the spring!

I have many products from Ruffdog Sports including a leash and collar which have been used everyday for over 4 years and they're still in great shape! Their products are extremely durable and well made. I have also received 1 on 1 training with Christine and she is the best of the best when it comes to dog trainers! In only a couple sessions I see huge improvements.

I can't stress enough that anyone looking to purchase a Malinois contact a professional like Christine and learn more about the breed so you end up with a positive family experience. So glad Christine took us on such short notice for a 2 hr introductory lesson with our newly acquired puppy who we only had for a week.
