Wes-Tech Irrigation does a great job of supplying my company, Zen Waterscapes, with all the supplies I need to build water features. They specialize in supplying all the Aquascape products you need plus backing it up with the knowledge of how to use them.

We recently had a professional company install a drip irrigation system for our up-Island home. This afternoon, we called in to Wes-Tech's Langford branch to pick up a few spare parts in case we decide to tweak our system in the near future. Emily was exceptionally helpful suggesting what we would likely need, and gathered up a variety of misters and connectors for our system. I am always impressed by the level of service offerred by the youthful employees I have encountered at Westech. The staff are courteous, knowledgeable, quick to serve and not preoccupied with their cell phones. Today Emily fulfilled her role splendidly.

Wes-Tech are amazing! I go when they open the store and things aren't yet busy and you can get such excellent advice and recommendations. If you have any irrigation issue, Wes-Tech can and will guide you to success.Some years ago I went in with no irrigation smarts and they guided me in rebuilding my valve assemblies with the most modern tech. So now for around 7 years we have not required any servicing - it's rock solid.Plus the place just has a really good feeling.

We needed information regarding upgrading our irrigation system. We went to Wes-Tech and were totally impressed by the extended knowledge of the technician who helped us. He took his time and provided invaluable information. This is not the first time we are dealing with Wes-Tech and are always extremely please with the service provided. One of the top class business in Victoria. Competent and client oriented... Thank you for keeping the high standards, always a pleasure to do business with company like that.

I used to really like this place. I've been here many times over the last few years. They have a good selection of products and generally the prices are good. Depending on who you deal with the customer service experience at the counter was spotty, but generally fine. It did not bother me until today. To the point that I decided to walk away and not purchase from them anymore.Here is what I experienced. I purchased some materials yesterday, and went back today to return a couple of parts and get some more stuff. I had 2 parts to return in plastic sealed packaging that I did not even open that I just bought yesterday. I noticed a difference in the returned amount, and when I asked, I was told I was charged a 20% restocking fee! I asked why is this happening, and was told abruptly that this store policy and that there is nothing they can do about it. I said, how come, since I have been here many times in the past and never got charged this for occasional returns I made. I never returned used products, just few pieces each and there that I did not need and not used. I was told that this is the policy and it’s written on my initial invoice, which is true, and apparently on their website… I guess technically they are right, but I said, listen, I did not know about this, this is a change, also for what I returned given everything is sealed and just bought a day before, can you make an exception… No exceptions. I was passed to the store manager, who lacks any type of customer service manners and skills, but for which his skills are compensated in spades with arrogance and rudeness.Regardless, although technically they are right by the policy, the strict application, and complete disregard to my situation as described above, and the really poor treatment I received as a customer as far as I am concerned, made me so upset that I decided to leave and not purchase the additional materials I needed. So good for you for making an easy 20% on a $30 return (that is $6, but it’s not the amount that matters, but the unreasonable treatment), but losing about $200 that spent at a different place today… and that’s just today.It’s too bad this is happening… things were not like that. I had good interactions with fox there, including with Bruce in the past. Anyway, everyone makes choices, and so do I as a consumer.

I’ve been shopping there for 15 years or so when Steve owned it in the beginning ever go there again if possible return policy is outrageous and pricing is worse than buying fittings at a corner convenience store ! very hard to shop at a store where you have to compare prices so you don’t get ripped off $37 for a 1 inch check valve $10.65 at Andrew Sherit
