Parking here can be limited.There are lots of trails in residential areas that connect to the main Deer Lake loop trail. Try street parking near Royal Oakland Park. Free street parking - up to 3 hours allowed, more than enough time to walk the whole park.

Deer Lake is very popular, thus, this parking can get full and quite busy.Good news is that it's free.Some may find the lanes between parked cars a it narrow.

It's a pretty big place with a number of parking spots. The only con here is that the cars are pretty close to each in the front because the boxes are pretty small.

The angled parking is really difficult for some people to gauge how far in to park their car in a stall.The parking is also one way so it's hard to find a spot, it fills up on sunny days.

Visited the First Burnaby Blooms 2023 and then went for a walk with my friend's puppy. One of the hottest day in May and everyone has place to cool and access to fresh water!We are early so we were able to get a parking space.
