Viessmann where top of the line products for as long as I can remember and thats a long time. I worked all my life on the Hot Water Heating trade. But in the last few years Viessmann products fell to the bottom because there is no service anymore, if a product is older then 5 years.Products are only as good as their service, especially if you live in an area where it can get 50 below.Sorry Viessmann you are out of the picture.

Having been in the plumbing and hydronic trade for more than 30 years, I've seen a lot of boilers. The Viessmann line of boilers are truly, one of the nicest to install. All required components are included and packaged in modular form for easy installation. The I&O manuals are easy to read with great resolution on any schematics or component layout. Programming procedures are laid out nicely, as well. One of the real highlights of any Viessmann boiler is the tech support group that comes with it. Live, on the phone - real people with a true understanding of, not only the boiler, but hydronic systems in general.We had a concern with the first Vitodens boiler we installed. I was looking, but couldn't locate the spot, on the wiring terminal, where the thermostat would connect. The installation manual didn't indicate a location either. I understood that the unit had I/O reset control but just assumed that there would be a position for T-T. In speaking with tech support, they informed me that normally, the I/O control would be sufficient to operate the boiler, given proper programming. I indicated that the boiler wasn't the only heat source in the building and that we needed some way to shut the unit down when set-point had been reached. Lo and behold, they sent an email to my phone with a technical paper on how to wire in a thermostat. Viessmann had the foresight to know that this was a situation that might occur and developed a solution for it.I love this product and wish all of our installs could be with Viessmann units.

My boiler broke down and it was next to impossible to get parts but Fred from Fred's Burner service was able to source parts over the holidays from Sean Dempsey Jr. even though it was over the Christmas Holidays, the two working together got this issue solved in a tight spot with the holiday handy cap and I couldn't be happier. 10/10 would recommend Viessmann and Freds Burner every day of the week!

I was looking at purchasing a Viessmann Boiler. Being an Engineer and after doing my research and reviewing the feedback on the internet, I would not recommend this product. This product appears to be high German quality with stainless steel critical components. However, it appears that the system can not handle the high-quality water in the Peel region. Also, it seems this company does not take responsibility for their issues. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THEIR EQUIPMENT!

5.5 years ago my wife and I purchased a Viessman boiler with domestic hot water for our home. Install and all service work done by Ace Plumbing and Heating of Saskatoon.As of yesterday we are on our 3rd domestic hot water tank that just cost us 5K to replace.These tanks reside in an equipment room that is spotless and yet they won’t last longer than 2 years. I’ve contacted Jason from Viessman Canada and to date NOTHING from him, as far as warranty consideration or any help at all getting us hot water! How busy can you be??I called the Waterloo office and got their voicemail only, no human answers, tells you to consult their website for assistance??? “ comfort for life “5.5 years and 3 tanks! Boy are we glad that we bought the “ Cadillac “ for boilers. No Cadillac for performance or warranty coverage experienced by us! Help, somebody, anybody. How about some customer service??

I had Viessmann Boiler since 2013 & I paid tons of money for this product. Please aware there are so many problems with these boilers, I replaced control console in back in 2017 cost me apx $1000 and this year heat exchanger cracked, sent for warranty and they find some excuses in my city water quality and denied the warranty claim.I am totally unsatisfied from their product.

If this review is here, this means Viessmann Canada did not replace our Faulty Brand New Tankless Unit which is not working after installation (no hot water, no infloor heat)Don’t even think about buying any Viessmann product in Canada.Me and my family going through very bad time after installing Viessmann Tankless boiler. No hot water and infloor heat from last 8 days as it’s just not working.They sent untested/faulty brand new unit and now troubleshooting the issues in it on our cost. NO replacement policy for brand NEW unit even if it is not working. On top of that they are suggesting us to buy another unit and send them the one we have (100kg unit). They will test it in their facility after receipt and decide whether to refund or not. Ridiculous!Viessmann Canada and their third party contractor ALTATECH support company don’t care. I found these guys Rude and technically incompetent. They are asking our installer to replace one part after another from last 8 days, still it’s not working. No compensation to installer (forget about customer) who is troubleshooting issues for them using his own time.Customer is suffering but Viessmann people attitude is it’s Christmas time, vacation time, just Chill!!! as they already got paid by wholesaler. Now they started playing blame game over phones and emails still don’t see someone is suffering.Another worst thing, if any part is faulty then Customer/installer need to purchase it first and must send them the faulty part to get refund. They want to keep customers on their mercy!In addition this faulty product stopped detecting wifi module on day 2 and they told installer that customers must have done something that’s why it’s not working. Seems like they didn’t find any other good reason!In short…Cons…Careless attitude, baseless blames on installer and customer in case of issues in their product, Untested brand new products, incompetent people and technical team, Rude customer service support and their technical team including contractor ALTATECH are equally RUDE (I guess their company has RUDE culture policy….no one talked respectfully to installer or me), NO replacement policy (if you ask they say it on your face), you go and purchase parts first and then they will think about replacement and many morePros…Update my review if I find one.

I normally read reviews before purchasing, and I wish I had when I purchased my boiler combi unit as it is obvious there are many issues. After having my unit installed for 22 months I noticed water leaking and causing corrosion on one of the pipes. When the local service technician came, he stated there is something obviously wrong as the water had been dripping for some time. He told me he will figure out what is wrong and it should all be under warranty. After several months it was finally fixed, and to my surprise I was presented with a bill of 2400 for the repair! When I called for warranty, the third party company said I would probably have no luck getting any warranty from Viessmann as my warranty was only good for one year. I finally did get a call from someone at Viessmann only to tell me I need to pay my bill to their contractor that installed the unit even though it was obvious the problem started within the first year!Posting this as a warning to any one considering this product as it is not reliable and very frustrating to have this expense in that time period after purchase.

Purchased a Viessmann boiler four years ago. Expensive and supposed to be top of the line. Has not worked since May 2021. No support what so ever. We have replaced all parts in it except the main board. Also replaced the gas meter and regulator. Still does not work. Stay away from Viessmann

I would recommend a Viessmann heating system to anyone. I had mine installed by Internos Mechanical and it has greatly improved the energy efficiency in my home. If you're thinking about upgrading your home heating, then take a look at Viessmann products for a quality solution that will more than pay for itself in energy savings.
