BELFOR Property Restoration

Restoration with Belfor exceeded our expectations!! The office staff, Trevor Smith, Melissa, MJ all organized and managed our water damage restoration activities very professionally from beginning to end. From first visits by Trevor and Sean and throughout the process with multiple trade contractors coming and going the work got done with efficiency and high quality, Demolition by Jim and Jr, painting by Vince and Zack, Tyler and Robert for flooring, Helen and her cleaning crew...all talented and highly skilled. We engaged electrical and plumbing privately but recommended by Belfor and they also performed their work to the same high standard. There were many moving parts but the work was scheduled perfectly, Even when one small task was needed Jim came on the week-end to complete the task. We couldn't have asked for better service, people were respectful, courteous and clearly dedicated to their area of expertise. We are very happy with the finished product and proud of the work we all did together. Highly Recommend!! Thank you Belfor!!

We had a minor water leak in a wall due to a pipe freeze. The Belfor rep Sean was wonderful. He reassured us that our situation would be resolved which reduced our stress.Sean brought a lot of equipment - dehumidifiers and air movers. 3 days later all the affected areas were pretty much dry but he kept the equipment running another day and half ensuring that the inside of the walls were dry which his sensors proved to be true.I would highly recommend Belfor and especially their technician Sean.We are waiting for the OK from our insurance company so Belfor can repair our dry wall snd paint then our home will be like new again.

First time having to utilize a restoration company. Sewage flood. Belfor on scene within 30 mins of initial call - on a weekend -during the evening.From assessing the scene, having crew put furniture on blocks, setting up dryers and dehumidifiers and then having all of our furniture removed to storage, drywall removed, carpet removed, cleaners in, drywall reinstalled, painters come in, carpenter in to recreate and install molding and trim, painters to come back for final touch ups, electronics professional to come back and reinstall all electronics exactly as they had been. Everyone was very polite, very professional and very skilled at their specific craft. I had never had to put through an insurance claim before. I've owned my own home for 28 years and had no idea what was involved in an insurance claim. Belfor made it easy with clear communication - from MJ on dispatch calling me to advise when crews were coming in, to Shawn and Juno doing demo, Stanley on removal and then carpentry to redo moldings and baseboards, Lonnie who helped do anything needed including moving furniture, Dave and Gurinder who did drywall and paint. Andy who was the Project Manager was great at communication and once a schedule of tasks was created - everything moved along as per the schedule. 3 months from start to finish for a complete basement renovation after a sewage backup/flood.Thanks to all. I appreciate the hard work everyone put in!

Belfor has been great to work with, high quality work, professional, and responsive to our company's needs. We've used them for bulk garment remediation and were completely satisfied with their work. Would use again and recommend.

Five stars to me means greatly exceeding expectations. In my opinion, Belfor did just that. After experiencing a flood in our basement due to a back up in our stormwater system, our insurance company contacted Belfor for emergency services. They quickly packed up our belongings and filled three pods that were placed on our driveway.Unfortunately, our flooring consisted of asbestos tiling so we needed hazardous abatement work done. Belfor brought in professional trades for demolition and bio-washing that completed their work safely and efficiently. Of course, this was complicated by the pandemic so additional safe work practises were required.Once the emergency work was complete, it was time for repairs. The flooring, drywall, painting, mechanical and finish carpentry were well-coordinated and we were more than happy with the level of quality in every case. There were a number of opportunities for us to do additional work at the same time and Belfor was more than happy to coordinate it with the other work that was being done.Although the insurance process was slow, Belfor did an amazing job in making up time so that our place would be back to normal before Christmas. Every week, they were able to further improve their schedule. In the end, the pods were removed on December the 23rd!

We had a small water leak that Technician Sean responded to promptly. After several days of running dehumidifiers and air movers, Sean using his sensors was able to determine that the affected areas were completely dry.Now it was time for Sukhi and his drywall team of Gurjit, and Gagan from Elite Leading Edge Renovations (sub-contractor with Belfor) to work their magic. This team did a wonderful job of replacing insulation and the vapour barrier before re-boarding the drywall, then filler andsanding several times, remounting the baseboard and finally finishing their job with a great paint job.We are very happy with the work done by all of Belfor's workers who helped complete our restoration. The restoration that Sheila Deering exectued was impeccable. Looking at my perfectly restored artwork I am still in awe; both the drawing and painting look just like new. In addition to being a very talented professional, Sheila is most empathetic, knowing that these broken pieces also represent our memories and histories. We had a water fridge line break on Saturday morning, which caused damage to our basement and upstairs kitchen.Sean Hagen and Cam Livie were the first people on the scene to help us mitigate the damages by putting in heaters and cleaning up the water.I want to thank them both for their excellence in Customer Service, their professionalism, and their expeditious response during this emergency.We are also dealing with Conor Mooney the project manager and he’s also been amazing on the phone and we had the opportunity to meet him today in person to get the ball rolling. This is a review just for the movers who took/returned my belongings, and the lovely cleaners Helen and crew who managed the repair. All my belongings were returned in the same condition they were taken, and Helen and crew put everything back in the same spot they found it! They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their service. Highly recommend.I am still working with Belfor on getting the rest of my unit repaired from flood damage, and will update this review when completed.

This company got the entire job done in 3 days! This is unheard of for this field. All the individuals were kind and knew their job. When Lars came over to assess the job in advance he made some very helpful comments and suggestions. The person overseeing the work was Melissa and she updated me when needed and responded to my questions in very short order.Very impressed!Grant
