Very helpful staff, gave me a hand pointing out exactly where the product was I was looking for as I was kind of short for time when I stopped by.

I was on the hunt for pendant lights. They had the ones I was looking for in stock. Staff were friendly and helpful. Store was well organized and clean. Love their crystal for opener handles. Lots of fun additions for renos and restoration projects.

I was so impressed by the service I received in the last minutes of the day on Canada Day 2023. We were short on some cedar deck posts for a deck project we were doing over the long weekend. I rushed in 20 minutes before the store closed and purchased the lumber at the till … then out to the lumber yard where the nicest young fella named James who was only on his 3rd day working there helped me flip through every piece of 4x4 until we found the very best ones of the pile. He then took the utmost care helping load these posts into the interior of my SUV and made certain they weren’t scratching or damaging anything inside my vehicle and then tied them off for me so they would not move around for my 2 hour journey back home. I appreciate your work ethic and customer care James !!! And Rona Vernon is very lucky to have you in their employ!!

The staff are so nice and helpful had to go last Saturday bought a light fixture and the gentleman that helped was great. He has helped us in the past and we received the same excellent service. I shud have payed attention to his name. Younger man works in the lighting dept/paint area.

Shopped online... Mistake! False advertising! No curbside pickup. They let you shop, order, and prepay online, send you an email that it is ready for curbside pickup whenever you ready. LIES! I proceed to the store to find out there is NO curbside available. You have to go inside to the online pickup desk. Nope again. After waiting inline I'm informed I'm at the wrong line and I have to go to customer service to pick up paperwork and then go out to the lumber yard where my order is waiting.. no again. I have to drive around the yard, get my own lumber and loader up. What a scam. I don't mind doing that if that's what I expected. Where is the consumer protection these days. Everywhere you go lately is some false advertising or misrepresenting.

Only gave a 1 star so i could enter my experience. Long story short. We place an order and can only take the 2 loads, one at a time. After confirming ill pick up the second load later that week with the girl (sa.....na) at the counter. I return later that week to pick up the second load. Only to be stopped amd accused of theft! The guy from there who obviously has poorly managed it_ Proof being he can't account for the inventory!. He then has the nerve to phone the contractor and accuse them of theft as well. Why would anyone submit their info and visa to steal some materials?! If we were thieves, i'm certain we could find many other things to steal and not have to travel all the way to vernon. Not sure as to why anyone could treat people as such. Go ahead and deny this. I would love to take this to the local media!! Try me!I tried the number you told me to contact.After several tries to explain the reason i am calling. She instructed me to tell you that number is for online services only!

I have never experienced such a lack of customer service from a retail store. Many staff around chatting with each other and no offers to assist. Got to say Home Depot has you beat.

Stopped in for a quick peek for bedding plants. There are a few tulips, but that's it. Not that it's time yet, but I don't want to miss out on the good ones this year. Lol I hope I saved someone a trip.

Went to Rona in Vernon BC today. Checked website quantities before going as it’s a little bit of a drive. Website said they had 13 items of what I needed. Turns out they used them in the yard and never wrote it off. What’s the point in having quantities available on your website if you’ve used them for your own personal use and not for customers that actually need them to purchase. Every time I go to this store they are out of stock of everything. Never returning as it’s always a waste of my time.

Bought some outdoor items, service was good, staff were helpful, and great price on items purchased. Will definitely go back.
