I’ve had the opportunity to work with many voice teachers and vocal coaches over the years. It wasn’t until I started my training with Elyse that I began to fully understand my voice and how to use it effectively. From my very first lesson, Elyse always stressed the importance of proper technique and story telling. These are the foundations that ensure career longevity and good vocal health. Elyse has always made sure that my lessons are tailored specifically to me/my voice type and the level of knowledge and experience she brings with her is incomparable. I started out with online singing lessons and eventually got to do them in person. Elyse is great to work with, she is kind and encouraging in the studio. You won’t have to spend much time with Elyse to realize that she’s a highly accomplished vocalist and coach, capable of helping and great singer improve and grow. I didn’t fit into that category at all. In fact, I was the guy who would sneak to the back of the room where I could mouth the words to “happy birthday” to remain unheard. At 57, and in spite of the fears and insecurities that existed within, I had this crazy idea that I should learn to sing and I ended up reaching out to Elyse to coach me. A little more than a year has passed and I am now regularly singing into a microphone in front of others and truly enjoying the experience. Spending the time to get to know myself and my voice has had a huge impact on my life in many ways, and I’m so grateful to have met Elyse. Without her kind and caring guidance, inspiration, encouragement and instruction none of this would have been possible. Thank you so much, Elyse.

Everything about what Elyse at Authentic Voice Studios does has been amazing. During covid she started teaching my daughter and it has had a super positive impact on my daughter. Every time after her lesson she comes out super happy and bursting into song. Absolutely love it, thanks again Elyse!

Elyse is an incredible teacher and a an expert in studio technique. She fosters an open and collaborative environment in each lesson and delivers succinct feedback every time. I’ve been training my voice for 20 years but haven’t been training it at all for about a year now. Elyse has helped open up my voice due to insecurities and lack of practice. She is a gentle and caring soul that really takes the time to find your authentic voice. Very highly recommend!!

I always wanted to sing but assumed not to be able to carry tune (and was told not to sing as a young person) fear kept me from trying . Then at 59 I decided to try a voice lesson with Elyse , she taught me that we all have a voice that is unique ourselves . Therefore all we need is to learn to use our God given breath in the proper way to make the sound flourish! I am on my second year of voice lessons and training to do my first Karaoke debut. It literally changed my life! She is a fabulous teacher ,very gifted vocalist and can redirect anyone to become what they were meant to be! I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to explore the dynamics of their own voice at any age whether you’re naturally gifted or not!!The BEST!!
