This company was fantastic to deal with. I was never on hold, always got a live person right away. I even had to make last minute changes to my delivery and pickup dates and they obliged and made it happen! This was the slickest operation I've ever dealt with, a true pleasure. I hope I never move again, but if I do, I'll know this company was worth every penny. Thanks for great service on our interprovincial move!!

We used this company to move from Ontario to Alberta. Price was reasonable compared to actual moving companies and renting a truck (which wouldn't have held all of our stuff anyway). Bin was dropped off in a timely manner and everything moved along as promised. Our bin arrived in Alberta with no damage to our items. We wrapped our furniture in plastic wrap and used pieces of pool noodles to allow for some vibration and movement. Once we had it unloaded, we realized that we didn't need to have it at our address from the originally planned period of time. A simple phone call and we arranged to have the empty bin picked up sooner.The bin itself looked nearly brand new. No rust, leaks or foul odors. The floors are new and easy slide items around. Lots of hooks inside so we could use ratchet straps to secure our items, we even built some wooden shelves inside without issue and removed when completed.All in all, very happy with this company and would recommend to anyone. I am amazed at how much stuff these bins can hold if packed correctly.

Easy to deal with and satisfied with the move and monthly rental. The seacan was rodent/weather proof as claimed during the May-November period. I would, and have, referred people to them.

I got divorced roughly about 2 years ago and as a result, I needed storage you see. Therefore, I settled on Big Steel Box in Red Deer because their prices were the best for 20 X 8 feet of storage.Now for over 2 years I have stored a variety of tools and impliments there.You might be thinking Yeah

Had a decent experience. They delivered the box a day early and were able to put it in a convenient location for us despite narrow spacing. However, when I booked the box initially, I was told that I would have to have a street drop off at the new location which is no problem. The problem arose weeks later, when it was being dropped off and they told me that I'm supposed to have a permit or have it emptied and removed after 72 hours or I risk a bylaw ticket. Why wasn't I told this when I booked the box? I could have gotten said permit. Instead I had to rush to get it emptied. It was also a long weekend so they wouldn't have been able to pick it up until day 4 at the earliest. And when I called to tell them it was ready, they wouldn't have been able to come until day 6 so it was pretty stressful. So I highly recommend looking up the bylaws before you figure out placements so you can avoid this headache. Other than that, it was great. Great staff and although it didn't hold my entire house, it did make moving easier.

We have had a 20' storage box for the past 20 months.....situated at our home. Big Steel Box has exceeded our expectations and provided us with exemplary customer service and reasonable prices. Daniel should be commended for his incredible skill for navigating this unit....both initially when dropped off, and now again, when picked up. Great job! Thank you so much! I used Big Steel Box to store household goods while waiting for my house to be ready. Daniel was excellent to deal with. He called prior to arriving and was so pleasant and very professional. Both pickup and delivery were done in short order. If I ever move again this is the way I would choose. As my family were the moving crew I’m sure they appreciated the convenience of it as well.
