Second Slices Cakery made the most amazing superhero birthday cake for my son's 3rd birthday in August. Not only was it a work of art, but it tasted delicious. It was light and moist, not too sweet--exactly what you want in a cake. I am not a fan of the taste of fondant typically, but it was all delicious. I asked them to make this on short notice, and I couldn't have been more impressed. I have tried many high end cake shops in the city, and this cake is my favourite. I will absolutely order from them again.

I have tried to speak to someone at this business to order a birthday cake by phone, text, and through their Facebook site, for about a week. No one answers the phone or any of my inquiries. They may have good cakes but I’ll never know because their customer service is totally lacking. :(

For the last 3 years, I've gotten a gluten free cake for my wife on her birthday from Second Slices. Each has been a complex design based on popular characters. Each time, the cake is amazing, the characters are accurate, and most important - it's delicious (you don't even know it's gluten free). Best of all, she is professional, timely, and competitively priced. I will be back every year.

We were always treated warmly and professionally.COVID hit during the middle of our design and wedding planning, and although significant changes had to be made to follow health and safety guidelines, Second Slices met all these challenges with us. They even delivered the cake a day early due to complications with our choice of venue. Rosemary's cake design was impeccable, and the cake itself was both beautiful and delicious - both the nut-free and the vegan & gluten-free varieties. Both of us confidently recommend Second Slices Cakery in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a cake for a special event.

We ordered a cake for one of our long standing employee's 65th birthday. He is an avid reader so we ordered a cake in the form of a vintage book. It was exactly what we asked for and so authentic. It was almost a shame to cut it, but it was rich and delicious. The cake was delivered right on time and we were unbelievably happy with it. The picture doesn't do it justice.

Last week, we have ordered a birthday cake for our little princess, and Second slices made a princess theme cake that was amazing and delicious even they also helped us in decorations and their efforts were wonderful, we all are very thankful of them to made our princess day special

Second slices is amazing!, I had an idea for a cake for my best friends birthday and didn't know where to get it done, till I found second slices. The custom style cake looked absolutely fantastic and everyone at the birthday party was stunned at what the cake looked like! If you are looking for a custom cake look no further! Jeff and Rosemary are great to work with. Right from explaining the address of their bakery to actual delivery of the cake they helped us and were very kind. About the cake, it Looked great and tasted yummy. All our guests enjoyed it. Thank you very much for making our son's first birthday even more special.
