The new owners seem to know what they are doing and l get the feeling that more I improvements will be coming. They do not seem to want to offend the loyal customer base, but they are trying to intice new customers.YOU MUST TRY THEIR CHOCOLATE BUTTER TARTS. The $1.75 per tart is a bargain for this incredible decadent creation. My suggestion if you plan to buy one, buy two of them. This tart hits a level of perfection that l rarely find.The staff that I met, were friendly, efficient, respectful, and engaging. I hope to increase there stars soon. They are breathing new life into what was a tired monument of Goderich.

Good place, staff has a habit of being annoyingly short tempered and expecting new people to understand the system asap.... they ain't that famous to act that way... they got some decent cream puffs and that's it. other than that there is nothing going out of your way for. Place is very over hyped and bad service often.

We just stopped by this little bakery and ended up grabbing a bunch of tasty little baked treats as you can see. Most popular items are their fresh donuts and a variety of tarts.

Come early if you want donuts, especially the cream puffs. But don't be mad if they are sold out! This place is great and widely known for their delicious donuts! The staff work extremely hard everyday to bake all the goodies in store and are superstars for how hard they work each day! It's not uncommon for there to be a line out the door of people waiting to go inside and make a purchase. It's well worth the wait! I absolutely love their cookies as well! The cream puffs are their most popular and they are super delicious! They also have pies, tarts and bread baked fresh as well.

Waited at the till for about two minutes while the two staff behind the counter completely ignore me even though the store is empty. Just trying to buy a loaf of bread. I even said hi, etc.... A third staff member comes in from outside with a few people following her. She rings them up even though I'm standing directly at the till. The customer apologized for cutting in line, I said it's not your fault

Last year when we were in Goderich we heard about this bakery and got some amazing baked goods. The Chelsea buns were the best we ever had and took several home with us. This year we returned when we were in the area and were disappointed. The Chelsea buns (it was in a ring instead of a loaf) had no raisons at all. It was more like a mediocre cinnamon bun. We did not return to take more home. The chop suey loaf was just okay. The cream puffs are still good however.

Super polite and kind staff, great quality products. Best tarts around, only downside is if you get there later in day they may not have full selection, but thats just because they sell out from how good their products are. Can't say enough good things about this small shop.

Came here for the first time, just after it opened for the day. A popular place, with many people coming and going. We purchased fresh breads and buns, fruit tarts/butter tarts/coconut tarts and boston cream donuts. All excellent! Although the sign in the window says for sale/sold" they assure us that the business is not going anywhere!"
