Great customer service and very effective product. It helped us more than once to get rid of big boulders. Make sure to drill deep enough and to give it the time it needs to expend and it'll do the job it's supposed to do.

Although the Dexpan material did not work out in our particular application which is not what it was developed for, (Trying to breakup a large frozen 15 slab of zinc that had flowed onto the floor following a molten metal run-out of a large galvanizing kettle). Be patient. This stuff works - it just takes time.I had an 8- to 10-inch thick concrete wall in my basement that I needed to break up, and after trying to jackhammer it for a day I decided to try something easier. I bought a 5kg pail of Dexpan Green (the one for 10-25C) and a huge concrete drill bit (they recommend 1.5 but I couldn't find one that would fit my modest hammer drill so went with 1"). Well

June '16 was able to break up about 15 cubic metres of granite in order to clear space to build a storage unit by our rocky shore line. Dexpan worked as directed, kinda fun too.

I had an approximate 50sq ft area of unweathered Monzogranite that needed to be excavated down below existing grade roughly 30 inches. Went with a 1.5inch rock hammer drill with a 1inch bit to drill 15 inch deep holes. The Dexpan had no problem fracturing the rock after 72 hours. After two separate layers of excavation I reached the needed depth using 88lbs of dexpan in all and well worth it!

Was working on a concrete slab that was a combination of old concrete and lots of rebar. Wasted a lot of time and effort trying to do it the usual way. Learned about Dexpan after searching online and thought I found a place to buy the stuff in Coquitlam but won't go into details that business, owner are Shady with capital S. Spoke to Sean at Dexpan Canada in Vancouver, WOW, crazy difference in service, knowledge and just plain wanting to be helpful. Gave me detailed instructions on phone, sent me info via email and followed up with a phone call several days later. Dexpan got the job done so much easier by precracking the concrete but gotta tell you the service I received was so different (better) than what you get nowadays. 10 Stars

Shawn of Dexpan Canada provided exception service. A refreshing customer experience! The product works extremely well. I had to wait 24 hours to see the full effect of the cracked granite. The product works extremely well and is forgiving, in that the hole does not need the dust or debris to be blown out first. Just follow the mixing recipe and you'll have success.
