Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Suites Calgary West

Fabulous experience at this hotel. Clean rooms and great service. Nice pool area too. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again.

Sanchin at the front desk was the most engaging of any Marriott employee I’ve met in my 90 stays this year. This is one of the few hotels that actually upgrades elite status members. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Hotel, check in was quick and easy, staff were polite & friendly. Rooms were great, comfortable. We had a kingsize bed in our suite, Minimal noise from the highway outside. Lots of parking available.

Lobby and rooms were old had smell not sure of what but it wasn't great. Wouldn't stay here again due to smell. Also the room was too far from the main entrance and there's no other exist apart from fire exit that you can't use except for fire.Rooms were clean, check in check out was smooth, reception and staff were polite and courteous.

The staff was super nice here but, I was sooo disappointed with this hotel. The rooms smell bad and are so outdated. My kids had a couch pull out bed to sleep on, it was in a weird room right by the door which I hated for them...especially considering you could hear people partying down the hall. The couch bed mattress was foam and so thin and curled up, there were no sheets and no blanket for it! I went down to ask for some and they said they'd bring them up...which took almost 1 hr. Just overall bad vibes and creepy trip to the basement to get to the pool. Hallway walls and stair well were dirty and had marks on them...they need to be painted! The lobby was cute but thats about it. I really did not enjoy this place at all...actually considered driving the 3 more hours home at 10pm.

It's a very decent hotel if you need to be in that area. Lots if food choices within walking distance. Front desk staff are amazing. My one and only disappointment was when we ordered room service, the finished trays were left outside room door for 24 hrs.

Like most of the reviews I had nothing but outstanding service from every single employee I engaged with, including cleaning staff in the halls.Largely booked this hotel due to the “sound proof rooms”. Unfortunately we were roomed next to a large family with 3 children and a baby, and the soundproofing seemed to be lacking. That being said, I did mention it to the front desk staff and Melody was so amazing and kind. It wasn’t even a question that she would move our room and offered us a perk as well. We were very pleased. The rooms are of average size and the beds are very comfortable.The pool is dated, tub jets were not working and I was unable to find the listed sauna, however, I didn’t purchase this room for the pool so it wasn’t a huge deal. Nice for families as there is a slide and larger seating. There was not a change room, however, and the co-ed bathroom is very small. Suggest getting ready in your private room if privacy is important to you or your kids. We accidentally walked in on a nude man in the centre of the bathroom as the main door does not lock despite there only being one toilet/shower.The staff at the on-site restaurant was shockingly good. I think it’s probably been years since I’ve experienced such fantastic customer service from a restaurant. Shout out to Amar who seemed to anticipate our needs and was excellent with our kiddos very modified meal. Over all I would book again.

The first room we were given had potato chips over the carpet in one area. The carpet did not looked vacuumed at all. Second room was ok, fridge froze up the pop and it exploded. The bathroom extraction fan did not work. Staff said some of the rooms were like that. Overall housekeeping was shoddy. We had our room cleaned on our second day their. One bed was made the other not. No cleaning in the bathroom, two towels were left and the bathmat was not changed. Front staff were friendly enough, but three different amount of holds were put through on my credit card totally over $1100 for a three night stay. Restaurant in the hotel were ok, very attentive staff so much so that when I went up to the buffet they cleared away my breakfast. I would not stay here again. It is pricey for sure.

Rooms: I am not sure how this is possible for a hotel like this to be still in business. Rooms are outdated, bathrooms and shower as well.Service: Our service person only organized ( not cleaned) bathroom when we were out. Nothing was organized whatsoever. When I went to get the coffee and realized there is none, the lady from behind front desk didn't seem concerned. She did not even get up to assist me nor was having any intentions to help me out. When I asked what should I do, she told me to go to the restaurant and get some :-)Heating: When we arrived we were placed in the room with no heat. We called the front desk and we asked for help and we were relocated to a room with no better heat either.Price: I know this is just 3 star hotel and it is ALBERTA so I would expect the price to be somewhat relevant. It is not.We will never be back and we won't recommend.ps. The lady in the restaurant was very nice and helpful.

Great staff, but this is a super 8 with a Four Points sign.The rooms definitely aren't worth the price. We stayed at the airport four points a week prior so we thought it would be the same hotel; boy we were wrong.We had a few issues with our room and the wonderful staff did give us a discount.
