What a unique experience! The advance booking is worth it (at least 24 hrs before)The food is hand crafted with tons of attention to detail and thoughtfulness. Best of all, you get 1 on 1 attention with the chef and partner to make sure your meal is the best and to talk food, dining and living on Alert Bay

What a beautiful meal. Even after no power for the day, our family had the most delicious food. They provided noodles for our little ones on request, and the most delicious dinner and dessert. One of our favourite meals we've had!

Delicious fine dining experience. Must make reservations. Excellent personalized service. Cozy locale with view of ocean. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and our meals. Exceptional dessert also.

This place is exactly what you want for dinner in Alert Bay. The dining room is part of a huge, beautiful, welcoming general space with unparalleled views of the water. Pictures do not do it justice. The food is not just better than everything else around, it's an entirely different standard. Locally foraged ingredients, home made charcuterie, this isn't just food, it's *dining*. Go now. Go more than once, even.**Important notes:-Current chef might only be there until October so potentially limited time (so go soon!)-BYOB for now because of liquor licensing stuff (but liquor store on the island)-Prix Fixe-You have to book and order ahead of time. Definitely call and book ahead, you don't want to miss out.

Wir haben zwei Abendessen hier genossen. Es gibt jeweils wahlweise ein Zwei- oder Drei-Gänge-Menü. Die Speisen werden liebevoll und frisch zubereitet und die Brötchen sind selbstgebacken. Es hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt und Paula und Pablo waren sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Auch die Atmosphäre in der ehemaligen Kirche ist besonders. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
