Had excellent service from Rebecca here! The view is absolutely fantastic. Be sure to spend some time by the fire pits with your favorite beverage, I could have spent much much longer here. The cauliflower appie was quite good.

My wife and I visited on our honeymoon and let me tell you the views are awesome from this beachfront patio and what really made our experience the absolute best was our server Rebecca she was an absolute delight and made our experience at the bistro a 10 out of 10.

Incredibly delicious gluten free eats at this food bar!! You don't need to staying at the Long Beach Lodge Resort in order to visit the Sandbar Bistro. We had the gluten free fish and chips, as well as the gluten free chicken strips. The food was so great we ended up getting chicken strips to go and had them for breakfast the next day. This spot made me a happy Celiac eater. Sitting by a fire, with good food, and a beautiful view of the beach was a fantastic experience. Will absolutely return!

We had the pulled pork sandwich and the beef burger. Everything was top notch and the service from our server Charlotte was great! We will definitely be back for their happy hour, the drinks we saw looked really good!!

Beautiful location so they’ll never hurt for business. Like many post-COVID restaurants, the lack of trained staff is really showing. It was a busy day so it seemed normal that food was coming out slow. But when everyone seated after us had gotten their food we got suspicious. They forgot our order, for over an hour. Fine, it happens. But we didn’t get a sincere apology, didn’t even get offered to order another drink and didn’t get comped anything. They should really train their staff better, but since they don’t need to drum up business, they probably won’t.EDIT: We appreciate the establishment taking time to respond. Ordinarily we would have spoken to leadership staff but none came to see us, which was part of the issue. The fact that you took time to respond makes me hope this was a one off.

I just got back from Tofino, and just LOVED this new addition on Cox Bay out front of the Long Beach Lodge. Apparently this is Tofino's only beachside dining patio. I had lunch here 3 days running and my only disappointment was that I was not able to stay longer to try the rest of the menu... Day one was the halibut burrito. 5 stars - Oh and the Fries..So good... Day 2 I had the Salmon Poke - Salmon sashimi cut small with some yummy sauce and prawn chips... today was a good old fashion bacon cheeseburger, the bun is home baked pretzel" bun.. and of more of the amazing fries. They are fully licensed and I saw many tables with the bucked of cold coronas sitting in the sun and watching the surfers do their thing. You cant take the beer off the deck
