When Evelyn (my deceased wife) and I made the prearrangements, details we hadn't even thought of were brought to our attention. Later at the service, Our friends were delighted with the arrangements and the area chosen for our gettogether prior to the chapel service. The whole afternoon was one of rejoicing and exchanging anecdotes. Yes, I cried and our friends did also. But there was joy in the celebration of her life. Thanks to the wonderful people at La Maison Darche Funeral Services.

I would like to mention that my experience with La Maison Darche and dealing with Natasha Ugaz was comforting with absolutely no pressure. She was most helpful nd very pleasant to deal with during my grief and sincerely thank her.Carol

From the initial appointment to the actual evening of the funeral we received the most disapointing and unsympathetic service I could of imagined. I can not find anything positive to say about the staff who pretended to 'help us'. Also, many specifics that had been planned in advanced were not set up and no one working there seemed to know about them. Contrary to what we were told, the director was not willing to press start on a playlist. Another employee leaned some of our picture frames on Kleenex boxes which made for a really ugly display. The funeral director was rushing everyone all night, By the end he got really agitated, pressuring visitors that were in a line to express their sympathies to go sit down, afraid that we might overstay. If anyone working there cared at all about us or the service, you could'nt tell. If I could of given no stars at all, I would of.

A very understanding and compassionate staff. All our needs were addressed and much flexibility was offered to help us through our loss during the Covid-19 pandemic.

I had good experience here for the funeral of my father. Special mention for Luc Nantel who suggested the use of the Chapel so we could broadcast the funeral to our oversea relatives. Thank you.

I am still frustrated when I think of how much more smoothly the events related to my father's funeral could have unfolded. Frustrations are the last thing a family needs while grieving.We chose La Maison Darche (Brossard) due to its location. All staff we met were courteous and professional but inefficient internal processes...Your first-line employees should know that at-home" deaths take PRIORITY over hospital pick-ups. I should not have been placed in a position to "school" an employee on their own protocols and then wait for her to call me back after she verified what I had said.Clients should not be discouraged from reserving their desired funeral date over the phone. We were encouraged to wait until the funeral meeting two days later and in the interim

The mic was not working so half way through the service an aid stopped the son in law of the deceased from delivering his speech until they found the problem. Empty boxes by the service counter. Extremely unprofessional.
