Wild Rose Cat Clinic of Calgary

I have an abundance of positive things to say about this clinic, and nothing negative. Firstly, every single person who works here is great at their job. Not only that, they are kind, compassionate, caring and LOVE cats. All of my interactions have been positive even when in the worse possible scenario such as end of life care. Secondly, Dr Liz is the only cat specialist in Alberta, and she is very much committed to giving each kitty the best care possible. She takes her time to explore issues with me, and discuss the science behind whatever it is we are talking about. Thirdly, letting my kitties be the judge, this is the only clinic I have been to where my cats experience no stress when visiting. They are calm here, and with each successive visit become more calm which is incredible to see.I have been coming to the clinic for 12 years with 3 cats. These years brought many complex issues for my kitties, and with the help of the vets, vet techs and admins my kitties lived well and stayed happy and healthy. At the end of their lives, the care and compassion my kitties and myself received was above and beyond. I would unreservedly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs care for their cats. I transferred here upon a recommendation, and have had many friends and family do so on my recommendation. Everyone is grateful for the exceptional quality of care they receive.My most sincere thanks to Liz, Janet, Kat, Jen, Clara and many others who have provided us with such amazing care. We are forever grateful and have so much love for you all.I cannot recommend this clinic enough.

True to other reviews about Wild Rose Cat Clinic. All 4 of our cats have been treated by them. I have never been to a Vet that shows more love, passion and knowledge. Everything is described both scientifically and in every day language to understand any issue no matter how big or small it may be. It’s a relaxed environment and our cats are not as stressed as they have been in other clinics. Dr. Liz continuously does research to be up to date on all things cat. The peace of mind knowing that our fur babies are taken such good care of by the clinic staff is second to none. Thank you all for your continued love and care.

This place is fantastic. My little Betty was terrified as usual to be in the clinic, but they gave her a bucket with a soft towel so she could hide. I cannot say enough positive things about this vet, highly recommend! Thank you for providing the best care to our cat Kisulya and for allowing us to say good bye to her with dignity and respect. Dr Liz and Dr Clara always take time to explain and give options. Dr. Liz, Jen, Cassandra, Kat and all staff we have interacted with are as kind as they are knowledgeable. Every interaction they make us feel like our special needs cat Ben is their top priority (which I'm sure they do for all :) ).Highly recommended their service for your feline family needs.

I love the doctors, they both professional and caring. The assistant provided a bucket for my terrified girl to hide in. They also always support me by answering any questions, and have supplied the only dry food my fussy cats go nuts over. Can't say enough, these guys are fantastic! Not to mention it's cats only, and the felines are kept seperate from each other to limit to stress.

The most caring vets you will you come across. They treat your fur babies like the royalty they are. Knowledgeable and kind, I’m so happy to recommend anyone who has cats to come to this vet.

My heart is broken while I write this review, but its important to share my review of Wild Rose while the moments & care provided by Wild Rose are still real in memory.Our sweet Abby girl passed on Monday and our biggest regret was not bringing her to Wild Rose sooner. Please DO NOT WAIT to bring your kitty in to this amazing clinic.Abby had previously been to Wild Rose and had great care, but after moving out of town, we thought we would try a local clinic in our town, this is where our mistake was made. Abby was diagnosed with Kidney Disease and I wish we had brought her into Wild Rose sooner for a second opinion and true treatment plan. The vet who diagnosed Abby put her on medication, but nothing was said about a renal diet, her needing additional fluids to support the lack of water her body was receiving, or the medication that could help stop her from feeling nauseous and hung over like, 24/7 - these were all things that Wild Rose shared with us.By the time we made it back to Wild Rose, Abby had quickly & suddenly declined into stage 4 Kidney Failure, we visit 3 vets over the weekend, and by Monday morning when we made it to Wild Rose, we were too late.I want to Thank Dr. Claire and Nurse Jen for all the love & support they poured into us and beegers on her last day. Being the hardest & worst day of our lives, we were given all the time we needed with our sweet girl and treated with the utmost respect. Our baby girl was taken care of so well while in their care - as were we.You could see the way the care for all the kitties that come into their clinic, treating them as if they were there very own fur babes. Please do not make the same mistake we did, do not wait to visit Dr. Claire & her team at the clinic. If your furbabe just needs an annual check-up or you have a concern about your kitty this is the place to bring them. I know for a fact, we will never trust another vet again - Abby's brother will only ever be brought here <3Thank you again Dr. Claire & Nurse Jen from the bottom of our hearts

Our love Simba passed away one month ago. I am still in grief. But I think it’s the time I write a thank you note to Wild Rose Cat Clinic. Simba was 12 years old. He had been visited this clinic since he was baby. All the staff are very nice and professional. Simba got the best care there. I want to thank Dr. Liz for caring Simba for last two weeks of his life. It’s difficult to make decision to put down your pet. We were devastated. Thank you all for your support! We were grateful for the sympathy card signed by all the staff. We are not going to get another cat soon. But if we do, we will come back to Wild Rose Cat Clinic for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about this clinic and the staff here! We originally went with our big fella Samson that had passed away too early, and the compassion and care that they gave Samson and us as a Family encouraged us to come back with our new fella Oliver. The Vet and clinic staff as a whole truly communicates and cares for its human clients and feline ones and they have the most fair prices that we’ve experienced from any vet which is a big deal to pet parents. If you are a new cat parent or an old one looking for a Vet I highly recommend this clinic, they authentically care and it shows with each visit.
