H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre

We spent few hours in this aquatic center and we were overall satisfied with the experience.At entrance the reception was very polite and helpful and gave us a good impression of the facility. We used the family locker and change room that was ok. When we got in we were sad to see the slides were not working. So we tried the pools, lazy river and wave pool which were ok but not exceptional.I was shocked by number of women who were in the pool, hot tubs, lazy river and wave pool with shirts, head scarves, pants, tunics, etc. Many of them not made from swimwear textiles. They were wearing their regular clothing and swimming. This shouldn't be allowed in a public pool. I doubt if they have taken a shower and washed their cloths before swimming. If they like to escape heat they should have a pool at home for their lifestyle or go to some less crowded beaches of the Okanagan lake.Also the ladies with long hairs must be mandated to wear caps. I asked my daughter to come with cap and realized nobody is wearing them except some ladies that were part of a team practicing in the deep pool.

Mixed reviews. They don't answer their phone. I left multiple msgs and emails. Just requesting some basic information. I started the process over 2 weeks before my arrival, and would have booked a birthday room. But no, it took them 9 days to get back to me. Stating everything was working awesome. We get there after a 2 hour drive and the surfing pool was broke. While I was there, people were nice, but certainly not busy enough to not answer the phone or return calls for 9 days. Otherwise great place, clean and fun for the kids.

This facility has today, turned away a group of disabled adults, that had traveled all the way from another city 2+ hrs away, to then be turned away because they didnt have ID.How does that make sense? the communities program that would have booked the trip was not told that the individuals would need a piece of ID to enter the facility. On a personal level, one of the people attending this trip was my aunt, and she was incredibly excited for this trip. These adults had been waiting weeks for this trip, and for a group of disabled adults who had staff traveling with them, and constant supervision to be turned away in this manner is terrible.Shame on the workers who were able to look at this group of excited adults and turn them away..

Holy this gym is so overwhelmingly hot. Hated every minute of working out here today and yesterday. Everyone is dripping sweat. Stop being so stingy with the AC. Also only two squat racks with only one that has any type of platform?? Way too busy to not add another rack or two…

They have an online booking system, but it doesn't seem to work. No one has ever actually answered the phone when I've called. There's a voicemail but no one has ever returned my call. Staff at the desk are kind and helpful once you get through the ridiculously long line. Except, still, after speaking in person to a lovely and helpful woman, I still did not get a follow-up call or email.They obviously need to hire more staff. Times are hard" the voice on their phone line says. Yeah

I recently visited this swimming pool with a group of friends, and although the staff were friendly, I found the facility and policies to be disappointing. Firstly, the pool facilities are outdated and in need of renovation. The only lockers available were coin-operated, which was frustrating as they ended up jamming when we tried to use them. In addition, the steam room was only lukewarm and had an unpleasant, almost smokey smell inside.Another issue I encountered was the policy requiring photo ID for drop-in workouts or swims. While it is stated on the website under the drop-in tab in text that does not stand out, it is not a standard requirement for most swimming pools and should be made obvious on the homepage. One member of our group did not bring ID, which almost resulted in us wasting a 40-minute drive to the facility. The staff did enter personal information from our IDs into the computers, but we were told we would have to provide it every time we attend, which made me wonder about how my personal information is being handled.Overall, I left the swimming pool feeling disappointed with my experience. I hope the facility can improve their policies and amenities to provide a better experience for their customers in the future, especially given the relatively expensive drop-in price.

An awesome time and a great place to venture to. Here you can find a wave pool, sauna , 2 different hot tubs (family and adult only) and a sauna. There is also a workout facility as well that is a part of the YMCA.H2O is a good place to bring your family and friends.(Only reason why 4 stars is the cleaning of the shower/change room stall and the baby change desks arent done as often as they maybe should be? They always seem yucky when we arrive) (also yes I understand the traffic in and out will make it dirtier faster, but no excuse for baby change tables to be gross)

Great place for the family. Lots of fun! But seems like maybe they are under staffed or something? They didn't turn on the water slides, or the wave pool.

Staff is friendly, place is huge and mostly crowded. They have many pools including kids pool, hot tub, family pool, wave surfing and gym. They offer swimming lessons as well but sometimes hot tub is closed, slides are closed, bit congested etc hence a bit disappointing but nevertheless worth visiting.

Its often packed to the rafters with families but it has excellent amenities. The gym is well equipped and the classes are regular and well run. The big advantage are all the water-based options - swimming, diving, hot tubs, lazy river, wave pool etc
