Ordered food last night 80$ for food that was ok at best and 3 hairs. 1 long hair in the chicken, 1 curly long hair in the rice and 1 hair stuck to the inner side of cover to the sauce. I will NEVER go there again. It’s one thing to not enjoy the food but when you feel like the food is dirty, not a great look.

I am Portuguese and I have tried a majority of the Portuguese restos both in Laval and Montreal, some great ones, some bad ones but I am yet to try a horrible one....until tonight. I ordered a bifana sandwich combo and an extra sandwich for another person. First off, both sandwiches came in a small aluminum foil container with a plastic cover, what???? The potatoes were mostly all burnt and the rice wasn't the traditional Portuguese rice they used to serve but rather some poor attempt at making Chinese fried rice. The pork on the sandwich was obviously not marinated like usual and so overcooked that some pieces were like jagged pieces of hard cardboard and the less hard pieces just as bland. The bread was dry and no salad either which used to accompany the combos. Furthermore, I dared to try the piri-piri" sauce and that too was a horrible. Watery consistency with no taste at all

Meat was tasty, sauce, natas was good- only thing the rice was tasting everything but no rice. An also i paid 60$ for 2 plate and 6 natas. UfffI wish to have more food for the price :) thank you

Since the new owners i tried 7 times the food and this time was for sur the last one … in my family were about 20 to go there every single week and for sur never going again … the service 0/10 the cooks looks mad and nervous and gives you your meal with a dirty package every single time … the only thing is the girl at the cash that as a good service … tell me how i payed 22.66$ for this … where’s the rice that the last owner would include ????? Wheres the good portion ????? Whats is this SALTY fries … mayt go to the hospital after this … Really disappointed… this place use to be SO SO SO GOOD !!! :(

This is my first time adding a bad comment.. maybe I didn't make the right choice... the chicken sandwich was awful... I couldn't even continue the first part(as it was cut in half) it is a big portion with potatoes, sauce and cabbage salad. The staff are nice.. but never going back again!

I literally just went to pick up 2 chickens and asked for sauce on the side. Came back home with two cold chickens and one little half empty container of sauce. Good for one leg. Now I have to reheat my previously cooked chicken and share a spoon full of sauce. Never again!

I’ve tried many Portuguese restaurants in the city and this is definitely one of the best spots. The chicken is cooked too perfection with great sides. Just thinking about the Lajeunesse secret hot sauce makes my mouth water. The staff is always super friendly and I’ll definitely be going back
