Great bookstore !!Good selection of books on a variety of topics.Staff is friendly and knowledgable.Store is well kept and organized.Small mezzanine with more stuff.Great location, especially for tourists.Parking will have to be either on the street or on nearby public parking (both paying).During summer evenings, the street is closed to vehicles, so it become a pedestrian only affair.Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful staff members helped me pick out French-language kids books for my friend's children. The task was quite difficult since I don't speak French at all, but I ended up with a bunch of excellent picks, which I'm sure the intended audience will love! Cannot thank the ladies working there enough.

Great bookstore. They are friendly and knowledgeable about local literature. After a nice conversation, I left the bookshop with a few great books. As I had additional requests, the book specialist followed up with me via email. I wish all sellers were so knowledgeable about their books and proactive. Don't change.

Lovely bookstore with a wide variety of books, including a selection of English books. Want to buy TinTin or Asterix in the original French? They have it here. We had to ask for help and the gentleman who assisted us was fantastic - I’ve been in many bookstores but have never seen someone with so much passion for books and his advice (we were buying a gift for someone else) was extremely helpful. It’s unobtrusive on this busy tourist street but worth finding.

Loved this store. Something for everyone and the man working the cash was very enthusiastic with his French which made me laugh and smile. I purchased two unique greeting cards which made me really happy!

A very nice selection of books, I bet this is a lovely place for Francophones. For us visiting tourists, I was a bit disappointed with the service. When I paid for my two books, the cashier was rude though I tried to speak only in my limited French. Like many other businesses in Quebec City, only local Francophones are offered bags with their purchases. I expected more cultural acceptance from staff working at a bookstore, it was incredibly disappointing to see the same close-minded racism here that is so pervasive across Quebec. I didn't expect to be treated differently based on the colour of my skin or my french with an English accent in a store that literally sells knowledge.
