Buddha Bing Cottage and Cabins

This is my first time living in a cottage so maybe I just have really high standards, but I didn't really like this place. Had to sleep in the living room, which was filled with a faint smell of urine (or seaweed). Plus the place wasn't too well lit. It definitely might not be the worst place though.To be honest, id give this place a five star if it wasn't for that urine/seaweed smell.

Eric is a great host. He is very friendly, quick to reply and he even helped us with his vehicle. The rooms are very cozy, peaceful and washrooms were super clean. I would definitely visit again.

The room and property were very cozy and clean . Host was very accommodating. Property has BBQ and Bon fire. And it is walking distance to the harbour and the parks. Would recommend if you don't mind sharing washroom

I booked here because of all the great reviews, but I'm honestly very confused why it has received such high reviews.In the main building, you can hear absolutely everything happening in the other units and clearly hear their conversations. Poorly lit and poorly decorated. My experience was office didn't answer their phone. Wifi was in and out. Good distance from the harbor though.This is what I would expect for a $120 stay, not a $250 stay.

It was our last minute booking for Tobermory and only buddha bing had room available for that day. we were 4 and we got a small cabin. staff was good and they provided extra mattress and bedding for some extra charge. cabin needs some more maintenance but overall its good. cabin 1 and 2 has shared bathroom but it was clean. you can take this stay as some upgraded camping kind of thingpros queen bed,chair,fridge, microwave,coffeemaker,2 water bottlecons location beside highway,

Not exactly what my wife and i were expecting when we booked, we took a chance on the reviews we read and the fact we couldn’t book anywhere else in town and it was probably the best decision we could of made!!! The cabins are on the smaller side but plenty for 2 ppl as you aren’t spending 24/7 indoors anyway. The cabins are approx 10x12 inside and super clean! It kind of surprised us really being a small outdoor cabin, the layout definitely works! And we are pleasantly surprised! Theres a small fridge and microwave along with a personal keurig. The bathroom is shared with cabin 1 and 2 but its perfectly fine for usage and showering. 1 thing that would be awesome inside is a small bedside light, just something besides the 60-100watt bulb on the wall. It does get damp inside the cabin at night (we visited mid September) but they provide a small modern electric heater which works perfectly fine for the size of the cabin. As for price honestly its probably just a tourism thing but at 160$ per night seems a bit expensive for what the location/cabin is, other places in town are more expensive but the bulk of them are steps into town and all the tourism spots which helps avoid paying for parking. The drive/walk is short but u still have to make that distance. All in all we had a great 2 night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again in the future but some people wouldn’t be as accepting to the things mentioned above.

Great cottage weekend with some friends I grew up with. Owner of the place was very hospitable and treated us well. Property has various areas to relax and kick back. Made for a great cottage weekend and very easy to walk to the Town Centre.

It was excellent. Only thing I can recommend is a bit of landscaping in front and the back to make it nice. All facilities available was excellent. Thanks had a super stay. Wijeyeratne Family. (7- 9 Sept)

Very nice location, a very quite place to stay. Nice little seating area out front. Also has a barbeque. The room was extremely clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and sheets were very clean. Only stayed here one night but we had a fantastic experience. Enjoyed our stay very much. There is a beautiful garden when you first pull up instantly put a smile on our faces. Would for sure stay here again when visiting tobermory the next time.

Great place to stay. Room came with a mini fridge and a microwave. We had access to a BBQ and fire pit and we didn't have to bring our own wood. While the bathroom wasn't attached to our room it was newly renovated and was very nice. I would definitely visit again.
