Went into a golf town and was greeted by pretentious workers who treated me like an inferior person. Was constantly talked down to and it almost felt like they were trying to shake my confidence in golf. I enjoy the game of golf and now know that I would never go to this place ever to buy anything golf.And please dont tell me to contact customer service as this is an empty gesture in which nothing is resolved or done. Everything always stays the same here. They dont care as you tell by all of the other reviews.

I am a new golfer and decided to go into golf town today to get a decent driver since I have a large property and can practice hitting the ball. I told the sales clerk that I had little to no golf experience and that their clubs were out of my price range. He offered me a used club and said sorry

Way too many items of everything golf related I felt like a kid in a candy store that wanted everything. Staff was excellent and store was very organized and clean got what I wanted at a competitive price I will definitely be back for more

Sometimes you walk into a Golftown and never know what you will get (service wise). The Barrie location has been excellent for me personally. Josh Martella in particular has been outstanding. I had issues with my PING driver fitting (PING’s head office) and the wrong Drivers were shipped, Josh handled it like a champ and I ordered the correct drivers and got them two weeks later. Great experience and one that Josh should be receiving some recognition for. Thanks!

Always stocked with great outfits and latest items. Got my clubs regripped and the service was fast and courteous. Lots of staff to help out but it is November so it’s quiet typically for golfers. Overall I’m always happy leaving this store. Wish the balls weren’t so expensive but I guess I need to stop losing so many! Lol!

“Supervising” cashier lady was quite rude and ignorant. Before she lectures customers about using coupons and conducting transaction, she should ensure she gets her facts right. Regardless, there is never an excuse for being rude and snotty to customers. Terrible service, will never return.

Walked in ready to buy a new driver. Walked around the store for over 10 min looking at drivers. I noticed 3 staff hanging by the irons on the wall chatting and looking on their phones and actually taking clubs down to try them out. Not one asked if I needed assistance which I did. But maybe it's a Golf Town policy to not bother the customers.I had gift cards that I had to spend and after another 10 min of looking I lucked out and found a club on sale that luckily works for me but no thanks to Golf Town.I will never be back to this store as I have had way better service from the Newmarket location, if I am back.

This location is just ok. The younger staff members weren't particularly helpful, they seemed to avoid customers rather than offer assistance. I did eventually find an older gentleman who was very welcoming.
