I have had this hot water tank sitting in my yard for 6 months waiting for a chance to take it to Hartland Landfill. I just happened to make a call to H.L. and spoke to Wendy and she told me no charge for a water heater. I was pleasantly surprised but the best was yet to come. I trailered the tank down to their place and it was busy. I thought here we go a long wait is coming. But the gentleman quickly waved me in and by the time I got out of my car he had the tailgate down and the tank on the ground before I could get my gloves on. These guys are great! I was in and out of there in less than 2 minutes. Awesome service!

Very friendly and pleasant staff, and there was no issue with the bin dropoff. The trouble was the pickup. We were initially told we could get it picked up the same day if we called before 3pm, but when we called at 2pm, they said they couldn't do it - the next opportunity would be in three days (it was a long weekend). They did come on that day, but quite late. This would not have been a huge issue except that it rained torrentially all through this time and the tarp we had didn't fit that well so tons of water got into the bin. We wouldn't have gotten it delivered when we did if we'd known we'd be keeping it so long.

Fast and organized. However, expensive for smaller dropoffs due to a 20 dollar minimum. If you go over 20 dollars of weight you are charged 40, no in-between. Over 40 it is by weight and as a result more cost effective.

I'm an electrician, our company has an account with a place in Langford, dumping material at the end of a day or week can be tricky with traffic, plus you have to sort it all yourself there. At HL the boys in the yard are friendly, fast and they do all the sorting for you! Super happy with my visit, what would have been 30 minutes in the yard at the other place was under 10 here, and I didn't have to drive all the way out of town.

Staff on site were informative, unfortunately the website not so as much as it did not mention about the $20 minimum fee. Also lack of customer parking.Sorry, can't justify to pay for a neglected picnic left by previous tenants several turnovers ago that the building manager was too lazy to haul away; I had to dismantle by hand & figure how to recycle responsibility since according to my dad the wood was in too poor of a condition to repurpose into another yard project such as raised garden beds.Some clarity on the website would've saved me the time and the disappointment after the fact. Stars deducted for that as I had to figure alternatives now.

Best disposal place In town. No sorting in bins just drop on the ground . They handle the rest. Staff has a great sense of humour and always a positive experience.Much cheaper to just tarp your load and drive to Hartland Landfill. At HL they will charge you $20 on top of your weight charge if you bring in a couch or mattress.At DL Bins in Keating the minimum. Charge is $12 just for reference.

I go to HL regularly. I’m in good shape and don’t usually need a hand unloading the trailer. I hurt my leg quite badly a few days ago and the staff noticed right away. 4 fabulous young fellas converged on my trailer and unloaded it 3x in a row. You just don’t get that everywhere. Customer for life…….right on!

The team at HL are amazing! I often remove debris and refuse from my client's properties when they sell their home, and I always choose HL. It's rare to find any level of customer service in this specific industry, and these folks are top notch. So much so that I look forward to making the trip when the need arises. Keep up the good work!

I had such a wonderful experience at HL bins! All the staff were lovely, hilarious and helpful. By far the best disposal experience I've ever had!
