I came here once with a friend and we sat on a bench overlooking the weir and talked for a few hours. I really liked it!! It's a great place to sit and talk or go for a walk or run. Would definitely go again!

It's a little known secret of how to find this place but once you do, you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the downtown skyline as well as the river. There are also benches and walking and biking trails to allow for more enjoyment!

This is a huge parking space right in front of the weir. If you are looking to get some walk/hike around the trail, you can park here.Lot of times people just park n sit in the car and enjoy the serenity.Free parking, great view and connected to Meewasin Trail.

There was a few parking sports available when we arrived and always had a spot everytime I checked. It's close to the weir and walking distance down to the river. You can park and go fishing near by, take a walk on the foot paths and even go enjoy the view on the weir.
