I recommend Home Care Assistance if you are looking for private PSW care. Rates are competitive. They are very responsive and were able to provide care the day after I contacted them. They have 24 hour phone coverage if you need to make any changes. The care provided was excellent. I dealt with Allison who helped me to navigate through a confusing system of respite care.I suggest them without hesitation.

Home Care Assistance provided excellent support for our family during the time we needed it. Support was not only for our Mom, but it also provided relief as caregivers knowing our Mom was being well supervised. Communication to plan and to best determine our needs was thorough and suggestions were wonderful. It was great to know that no contract for a set schedule was needed and arrangements were made as needed. I highly recommend trying Home Care Assistance. It was a very positive experience for our family.

Home Care Assistance Waterloo provided overnight care for my mother after a lengthy hospital stay. The company was able to quickly secure consistent staff for approximately 3 weeks of care. Our mother had mild dementia and our father had numerous health issues. The PSW staff were professional, reliable and dependable. They quickly forged a trusting relationship with our parents. They competently looked after their personal, medical and social needs. More often than not the team went above and beyond the our expectations. From there she has been attentive, compassionate and efficient in setting up services for the individual and their family.
