Literally nothing in the gift shop. Empty shelves, not even good postcards. Didnt get the food but that seems to do a good business.

The owners didn’t seem to be happy. There was an old lady in front us asking what would be good for lunch, the owner lady said with a poker face, everything’s good..... our food was average too, not bad for a quick bite but not much specialty. The gift shop is 60% empty shelf too.

Don't stop here. The place need some TLC and the gift shop, is not what the pictures show, old & outdated. The #1 reason is the Customer service!!! You just don't walk to the table and throw the utensils in the middle, then bring the food and just set it on the table, don't bother asking who ordered what and walk away, never seen her come back to check after a bit. I've worked in the Hospitality Industry and the lady that mainly waited on us would not work for me. She completely gave off an attitude of ignorance.Food was not worth the price either.

Manager was extremely rude, refused to give my cousin a discount or his money back when he was served an ice cold chicken wrap. He kindly stated he would pay for the fries he ate but she wanted nothing to do with it.According to her it doesn’t say it’s a warm wrap.. maybe they should have a more detailed menu and include a warm/cold section as we had done a full day of hiking and just wanted some warm food!I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I haven't found a lot of options when looking for restaurants in Grand Manan. So this is a regular stop for us, when we do go. There food is greasy spoon type, with some home cooked elements. We were particularly impressed with their Club Sandwich. Home made bread, real chicken, and a fair price.Definitely be there again. Try to avoid lunch on a school day, it gets busy. You're better to wait an hour, but the service is still quick regardless.

We stopped in after a hockey game while waiting for the ferry. It was perfect the young ladies helping out were polite and quick, the owner,( I assume) was a wonderful women who made our time feel more like a home cooked meal than a restaurant.

We have breakfast here often, everything is always good, we had a standard breakfast, eggs over easy, home fries , bacon, Texas toast, not that skinny bread that other restaurants have, you will be full after eating there lol

Sweet young girls were serving here today. I mentioned how my mother used to bring me there in 70’s and how it had the same ice box, stools and glassware as was on the shelf. (Except much less of them.). It was such a great memory. I asked if I could have a float in one those same glasses. The young girl was offering to accommodate me but was quickly shut down by the owner who told me in a persnickety voice, “you can’t because it won’t hold enough ice cream and we need to put it in the paper cups and fill them with 3/4 ice cream and 1/4 pop from fridge which I you need to get yourself. My spoon was too short for the float and I wasn’t given a straw. I was quite appalled at this owners attitude.”. The young girl was embarrassed (which wasn’t her fault) but I tipped her cash and thanked her for trying anyway. . How businesses like this stay in business is beyond me. Apparently this owner has no people skills.

Food was decent, had a club sandwich and fries, which was full on the plate. But the owners and the service was terrible. The owner was letting her very young children manage the place, while she was being rude to the guests on the side. While we were eating, she was yelling at her children because they wouldn’t answer the phone or because they weren’t doing other minor tasks. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!Based on the food, good for a quick bite, but don’t expect much else.
