Urban Kids

I was in the @urbankids to change size of the clothes. The first thing that I asked if I can change them by giving the receipt. They said say. So I spent my time to find something for my kids while they were waiting in the car. At the end I turned back to the first point to competle the process and then I told I can not change them since it was bought in different method. Started to ask many questions. Who bought them. Do I know the name blabla on the invoice. I told them they were gift. After some discussion I could not change the clothes.So upset since I spent my time for nothing although I asked at the beginning. When turned the car seeing my kids nervous and crying and an angry husband. That's very much for making my day !!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a store! The manager ( who would not tell me her name) took forever - 20 minutes plus with the customer in front of me who wanted to exchange for a different size. She did not apologize and was extremely rude to the lady. My daughter ,who had her 6 mth old baby in her carrier , went to the other side but was told the cashier was on break. So we waited and waited. Finally I said there should be another cashier opened up and the manager looked at me and said go over to the other side then. I said my daughter just did and they were on break. She said well they told you wrong and yelled for a girl to open up a til. The girl who rang me in salesperson #128994 was lovely and apologetic. The other lady that the manager was dealing with came to me and said I will never shop here again! " To which I replied " She is Unbelieveable " The manager then came marching over to this side of the store to pick a fight with me! A Grandmother with her daughter and granddaughter! I told her I was going to write about this and she said " what are you going to write? Get out of the store! " I had just bought 5 items and my daughter bought 4 items and we got kicked out of a store! It is a shame because I love to buy cloths for my granddaughter and thought the cloths were great but unless that woman is fired I will Never go back in that store. We were there on Oct 4 at 12 noon. ( approx) The other girls that worked there all witnessed it also."

Today I went into Urban Kids for the first time with my mother and my 5 month old. We loved the clothes and went on a bit of a shopping spree. All was well until we were in line waiting to pay and the manager and also the only cashier open (who was dealing with another customer) was taking an extremely long time to finish a return. The customer in which she was dealing with was getting frustrated with her rude attitude and being treated poorly.Eventually my Mother asked why we were waiting for 20 minutes and why there were no other cashiers. The Manager immediately snapped at my mother telling her that in all retail stores this was how long it takes. No smiles, no sorry it's taking so long, just plain disrespect as we stood there with handfuls of clothes. The manager then told us to go pay for all of our clothes on the other side of the store (Where we had just been told was not open).We moved to the other side of the store to be helped out by one of their sweet cashiers who was very helpful and kind. After paying and and saying thank you about to leave, the manager came storming over picking a fight with us! She went at my mother saying again thats how long it takes and was very confrontational. My mother then asked what her name was, she replied You dont need to know my name!"

I purchased a few items and had to do an exchange the day after. After lining up for 10mins they told me I had to line up again at another cash (where the assistant manager was). Then I had to wait another 10mins. Why was there no sign about having to find a manager for exchanges ? And how are customers supposed to know WHO are the managers ???

Sales were great,Store was well organized and maintained.However you need to watch as your items get rung through as the cashier doesn't scan the items as per listing.Some outfits had tags of $10 and was charged $15 , other deals were 50 - 60% off but rung through as 40%. Even when the sign was pointed out to her, she refused.

My kids love this place. The Staff is always friendly, helpful and kind. We have had nothing but great experiences here. The clothes are cute and affordable. They have good deals going on quite often like BOGO half off or a decent clearance section. My kids love the cute critter hoodies and onesies. The clothes are pretty good quality too.

So I do love this store but I will never shop in there again because they do not refund you the money even though you just bought the wrong size with the receipt. They with give you a gift card but for a company to do this it's not looking after their customers. The staff are amazing but the policy of the company STINKS. Please can your head office revisit this

Why is it SO HOT in this store?I've been several times over the past 4 months and I get to a point after 5 mins of needing to leave because I overheat. And thats without a coat on. Theres been times where I would have shopped longer, but needed out.I've also had at least 3 other people tell me the same thing. They have put down their purchases and have left the store without buying anything. No other store in this mall is an uncomfortable temperature.The store itself is fine though. My daughter does love shopping there. My son however is sad theres no animal hoodies for boys" lol."

If I could give zero stars I would!! Head office has the worst customer service i have ever experienced!! Save yourself the trouble and don't shop there. They do not care about customers.

Store was clean and well stocked. The cashier was in training with her manager, both were very nice and still kept up with line flow. My husband and I came back in seeing if they had smaller sizes (discontinued toddler 2 years ago sadly) but we were greeted quickly with concerns which we didn't have. Staff was so nice and friendly even though the place was super busy. Plus of course great deals ;)
