Bought a sleeping bag from them 40 years back. Excellent bag but the problem was I've avoided cleaning it for fear of damaging it. Few months back I was in and they suggested dry cleaning it at Gellibrand dry cleaning. Just got my bag back and it looks virtually brand new..including the loft. Highly recommend both of these businesses!

42 years ago bought a St. Elias 2.5 and still going strong. Even after rolling into a hot wood stove in a parachute shelter at -35 degrees outside. Kluane repaired the damage expertly.

Great custom sleeping bags and vests made in Canada. Little hard to get too due to the construction, but once there great and friendly service. Just be prepared to wait as it is a smaller shop.

Betty goes the extra mile to help out! I had a weird repair request for a paragliding harness and it came out VERY nice. I thought I had to send it to the manufacturers or buy a new one, both of which would’ve been very costly.Luckily I tried her first. Her repair was all I needed and very reasonably priced!I can wholeheartedly recommend.

Very good quality, true outdoor item's. They have been making top of the line outdoor clothing and sleeping bags for a very long time. Much better than their competition, that's made in China .Nothing like supporting local Alberta business. They are my first and only choice.

Amazing quality outerwear - Betty was extremely helpful in assisting me when it came to describing fabrics and materials, colors, etc. and with her help we came up with something I was happy with. This was all done over the phone as I live in Calgary and was unable to visit the actual shop. I sent her my measurements and she kept me informed with the approximate time before my coat would be ready.I could not be happier with this parka, it fits perfectly and is incredibly warm - I intend to wear it for many many cold Alberta winters to come. Remember that sometimes quality takes time, but I can definitely say any wait for a Kluane garment is well worth it, plus you get to feel good about supporting a wonderful local business. This a hidden gem in Edmonton for world class craftsmanship in down garments and sleeping bags. All their goods are 100% Canadian made in their basement suite on Whyte Ave to the highest standards. I happened upon one of their jackets and it's my favourite winter item. I can't believe this exists in Edmonton.

Amazing quality gear. I am still using a sleeping bag system i got from them over 25 years ago. And it was easily customized for me - a little taller, a little more girth, a hood on an inner bag.

Great products hand made here in Edmonton with only the best fabrics and 100% Canadian Goose Down. My winter parka looks to last me a long term and it is certainly warm and comfortable. They were also able to add a couple inches to the shoulders since I would have otherwise needed to get a bigger size which wasn't ideal. They have Parkas, Winter Bomber Jackets, Mountaineering jackets, waterproof shells, sleepingbags, pillows and comforters. You should definitely visit to get an idea of the quality of the products sold here.

What a wonderful place, best sleeping bag I have ever owned, custom to fit my long body. Betty was amazing to help me with the total project. World class bag!
