I had a previous tattoo done in honour of my mom, who passed away from pancreatic cancer. I found a signature of hers saying “Love Mom”. Sean O’Grady put that under the tattoo and when it was done, I cried. It was so overwhelming to see her handwriting on my arm. Then he did a water colour set of paw prints, to honour past and present pets. The colouring and design was amazing. I was so impressed with the fantastic job he did.When I arrived at the shop, I was made to feel very welcomed. The whole experience was like being part of a family, I felt so comfortable. The pricing was very reasonable.I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Sean

Great experience!!! I got work done by Sean. It's not my first tattoo. I could have fallen asleep it was so smooth. My design was understood and perfectly rendered. Very happy and would go back in I lived in NFLD ;)

I have been getting tattooed at Studio Maxx for the last 3-4 years and it is always a great experience. As a regular client they always manage to squeeze me in despite my often tight schedule, which displays fantastic customer service. They always make sure to sanitize the work station well, opened the needle in front of me, and make sure it is a comfortable experience. I primarily get tattooed by Mike, but I’ve also had work done by Sean, Melissa, and Kevin, who have all done fantastic work. I always recommend Studio Maxx to friends and family as the go to place for a tattoo. The entire shop is welcoming and always provides a fantastic experience. Some tattoos I've gotten have involved sitting in uncomfortable positions and my artist always makes sure comfort is a priority. Studio Maxx provides high quality tattooing at industry standard pricing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone, as I have never had a bad experience with the staff or quality of work.

The artist was great very nice person and did me a huge favour by getting me a piece so quick unfortunately tho it isn't what I asked for. It wasn't really close to the reference picture I gave. And I did specify that I wanted it to be more cartoony or animated which wasn't what I got at all. Also the color faded immediately and then melded into this gross grey so I got it fixed but it still faded bad and left me scared. Again though it wasn't all on the artist I had lost my friend and it was a tribute to him so I was not in an emotional place to tell him I didn't like the work when he finish. Again I do wanna say he was a great guy and if this is your style he did amazing work, the words are fenominal but it's not the style I asked for.

Studio Maxx is and will be the only shop I’ll visit for a quality tattoo! I’ve gotten my first three tattoos (soon to be four) here, and every single time it’s been phenomenal, job well done. I constantly get compliments on the ink, only to direct them to see the artists at Studio Maxx. The atmosphere is really relaxing and welcoming. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Overall a comforting experience despite being stabbed over and over with ink. Five stars for a five star shop ✨

Chris on the Master Piercings side of Studio maxx did my 8 year olds lobes today. She was a bit scarred but determined to go through with it. Chris talked her through it with a few stories and got her smiling. Would recommend to anyone with kids looking for there first piercing. But let the kids make the choice man! Priced vary fairly compared to some other locations around town.Great experience overall. A++

On May 1st myself and my friend had Sean for our friendship tattoos. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience. Our emails leading up to our appointment were answered timely and the design was adjusted according to our input. On the day of the tattoo we were delighted to be able to be together to have them done. The shop itself is clean, comfortable, and respectful of personal space needs. Sean was friendly, knowledgeable, provided excellent advice, and overall it was a very positive experience for both of us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business and, in particular, Sean. My mom and I came here on our trip to Newfoundland to get commemorative tattoos and it was a fantastic experience! The shop is very clean and welcoming, and there were great spaces for each artist. Sean worked with us to get the perfect design and placement. The appointment went by in the blink of an eye, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We would definitely recommend coming here for tattoos.

I've been coming to Studio Maxx since I was at least 14 years old (23 now). Sean has done all of my tattoos (with the exception of my first one which he actually covered up). I initially started going to him because he made me feel so comfortable and the atmosphere was super chill. I love his art and he is super easy to communicate with on social media, even after hours which I appreciate so much knowing how busy he is and has a family and life outside tattooing as well.I get compliments every single day about my tattoos, especially the coloured ones. Sean's line work is pristine and attention to shading and detail is incredible as well. He never rushes and pricing is great for the art and professional experience received.I always recommend him (and Studio Maxx in general) for both piercings and tattoos.With the COVID restrictions, I expected to wait a long time (and was willing) to get my tattoo knowing how busy the artists are. However, I had my deposit in and was tattooed in about a month which I was super impressed with. Sean always got back to be within the same day if I had questions or concerns. The shop is always super clean and I'm never concerned about cleanliness or sterility, even during the pandemic.Will 100% be back for more work in the future!
