The first time I thought it was just me, the second time I gave them the benefit of the doubt but after the third visit I know for sure I’ll never come back here.I don’t mind the fact that the store looks somewhat messy and outdated, and could be organized much more efficiently with a better flow. There’s a big selection of fabrics which could compensate for that if the overall experience is good.I just can’t get over how unhelpful, and sometimes downright condescending the staff is. Perhaps I got unlucky with the staff that ‘helped’ me every time, but after three visits I'm done trying.Don’t expect for anyone to ask if you require assistance, you can wander around the store looking completely lost for half an hour and they’ll still manage to strategically avoid you. Don’t expect to be helped in a friendly manner when you actually ask somebody for assistance. Don’t be surprised if you’re patiently waiting for your fabric to be cut to be treated as a nuisance (if you’re not just downright ignored again). Don't expect any helpful advice. Don’t expect any friendly small-talk that is the norm in -every- other Canadian store. Don’t expect an apology if a mistake is made. If you come in with those expectations, I guess this store is fine.Honestly reading other reviews of people with similar experiences made me feel so much better. This store's been getting the same reviews for at least 3 years and nothing has seemingly changed. From which I deduce that they don't really care.

Been to this location a couple times, they move things around so much each time I go in for a certain material, they say it over there, never giving the exact area, And never asked if I found what I'm looking for. Need more cutters very slow with each customer. They could take another person while the other person goes off to get something else. No you have to wait, while the cutter is just standing there. Not very helpful with me everytime I have gone in there.

Lots of fabrics to choose from, ladies are nice but hard to flag down.

They are always so knowledgeable and friendly. Was shopping for a christmas gift and was very successful.i cant tell you what I bought, it would ruin the surprise. Lots of really awesome deals on now. Membership is still 25.00 and if you have a big project most things are 50 percent off. But need the membership. So with it.

Me and my aunt have come here several times. She has switched me 3 beautiful dresses. The only issue is there are no mirrors! For a fabric shop there should be atleast one mirror

The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Lots of inventory, and prices are also good

Fabricland as the name suggests is a fabric paradise , most of your domestic fabric solution are easily met here. Lots of different fabrics , voile , cotton , lace , flannel , jersey fabric to name a few. Also accessories like buttons , zips ,hooks etc are available. Staff is friendly and always willing to help you find the right prints or get a good deal.Per metre cost is around $ 25 , this is on the steeper side , suggest those who would be needing to buy couple of times to go for their loyalty programme , that gives a di punt of anywhere between 30 to 50 % on the entire bill. This card costs $ 25 , but worth it.They also carry wool and cushion covers.Have a good parking space in front and is easily accessible and wheel chair friendly .

We had most of the things that we were looking for. (I shopped with my 2 teenage daughters. They always behave btw). That’s why I didn’t give 1 star. The employee that helped me cut the fabrics was nice and helpful.Everything seemed okay, though we had to wait in line for around 45 minutes to come in. And we also wore masks. But, after we grabbed everything we need, I waited in line to pay, then I realized I forgot something that I need to buy. I asked my daughters to find it while I still waited in line. But until I finished paying for my order, they still couldn’t find what I want. So, I went to the area of that stuff and I found it. I was holding that stuff when an employee with short blonde hair came to us and said to us (not in a nice tone) that if we don’t need anything else to buy we have to leave the store because there’s a long line outside the store need to come in. Keep in your mind it’s a fabric store. We need time to choose the right material and fit with our budget to shop that time. We didn’t even 1 hour there and that’s quite a big store to go to. That’s the first time we shopped there. Not familiar with how they keep things. I told her I need to buy one more stuff but she didn’t listen. I bought stuff almost $100 and not just window shopping there. It really embarrassed us that she need to kicked us out like that. That’s one of the worst customer service that I’ve ever experienced. From that one employee.

As someone who doesn't sew, isn't crafty, and am very inexperienced in these types of stores, I was disappointed. The staff seemed to know I was an outsider". Were not helpful
