Dr. Mak, Wang-Cheong

Totally agree with previous reviews. Dr.Mak is very impatient, he speaks in a low and fuzzy voice, yet he will get angry when you want to confirm what he said. JUST DON'T GO THERE unless you want to get an unpleasant experience.

Dr. Mak speak so low. If you ask again. He face change mad and no patiently reply to you. He said one appointment only can ask 1 question if you have second question go to from desk made another appointment.

Every time the receptionist gave me a very bad attitude. Extremely rude. I've never felt so much insult or discrimination in Toronto since I came to Canada. If you hate certain group or people, why didn't you tell us at the first place, like we do not accept patient from certain region or background instead of letting innocent people suffering?

He is a professional doctor! From my daughter’s born, he always gave us patient and professional suggestions, especially the nurses who work in front desk are always kind and helpful.

Very very bad attitude. Never seen a doctor like this. His voice is very small. If you don’t listen clearly first time and want to make sure and ask him again, you gonna be in a big trouble. He will roll his eyes on you and says “I told you already! Why you don’t understand!”And he forced us to check everything that my daughter doesn’t even need to.The worst thing is last time, the vaccine my daughter already had it half an year before. He looked at the immunization book and insisted we don’t have it. After we paid the money and had the shots. All of sudden he said “Oh, I made a mistake, she did have it serval months before.” No apologies, no worried about his patient. Nothing!If you don’t like your child, choose him! We already changed! I am truly suggest you not going there!

Reception is very rude. Doctor has anger issues. Don't come.

A great doctor. Doctor Mak accepts last-minute requests for even the most minor issues, which is a rarity in GTA for paediatricians. He's also extremely knowledgable and saved us both time and money from unnecessary OTC treatments. A lot of comments here focus on his attitude, but I've never found him being rude to me or my kid. He is on-point within a few seconds and provides succinct and concise advice. If you are looking for a knowledgable doctor, Dr.Mak is the one.

The doctor was rude and impatient when I tried to ask him more questions. Definitely don’t recommend. The receptionist is very rude as well.

My child is no longer a patient here, but I called the receptionist to get her vaccination chart updated and asked for them to just let me know what vaccines she had gotten. Every other doctor I called and receptionist I spoke with had no problem giving this information over the phone. The rude receptionist not only was extremely rude and disrespectful on the phone, but she said the only way she would give the information is to book an appointment!!! WHY do i have to book an appointment when I don't even need to see the doctor. Its all administrative!!! Obviously its so the doctor can get paid for the visit, when its not even considered a visit!! What an embarrassment to the health system here! Shame on all of you for taking advantage of the healthcare!

Unprofessional. First he said he needs details to understand the symptoms then he'd kept on interrupting when you try to explain. His voice is low and raspy. It's either he's swamped or he doesn't know how to do his job. Totally waste of my time.
