CAA Travel

No one answers phone. When they finally answer you get put on hold again and I sat on hold for 2 hours then THEY hung up. I booked with them so I had to go through them to get a credit back from the airline. They were no help at all as I said sat on hold for 2 hours the they disconnected. They want the commission but when something goes wrong they won’t help. NEVER book travel through them as they are the worst. I am a CAA member but I will never book travel with them again.

Trip Tik App, pathetic, not user friendly and the interface is reminscent of something we would have used 25 years ago. Add to that , we can use Google maps offline, I would have thought CAA would have created a 21st century app to help travellers with easier map access.Staff at CAA ....I give a 4 star hail, but this is my review about the antiquated web user experience.

Phone system is frustrating. After pressing the correct options still connected to wrong department. Person who answered was unhelpful bordering on rude. When I asked to be connected to correct department she just placed me in the queue again.

You need lots of time to stand there whats seems forever. Only one person to assist a line of people waiting standing in line with no place to sit. Once we finally got our turn our sales rep was excellent and lots of help. Please get more staff for your members, and get some place to sut and wait.

Great service and pleasent atmosphere

My wife and I booked our very first cruise with Patricia from CAA and it was a total mess.We contacted her in the morning, however she advised us right away that she had to leave at noon because she was going on a cruise herself. I guess at that point I should had asked to speak with another agent.Patricia advised us that she could not assign us a cabin as yet because it stated Guaranteed Room and would take care of this when she returned from her cruise.After checking into things myself, I called her Thornhill office and spoke to another agent who booked us a aft cabin because at this point there was nothing else available.I was informed because we paid in full right away, a cabin could have been assigned to us immediately.Patricia also told us not to call her once we booked and paid in full, but just to email her as she was so busy and not allowed to speak on the phone.Patricia had also booked us a (cruise ship arrived back in Miami at 7:00 am and our flight wasn't until 9:00 pm) flight to Miami and back, but at horrible times. When on the cruise I emailed Patricia and asked her to see if we could get a better flight time back to Toronto and even advised her we would be willing to pay more if that`s what it took. She emailed us back stating there was nothing available.I called Air Canada myself immediately and to my surprise booked a flight at noon back to Toronto instead of waiting 9 hours...I don`t believe she even called, there were empty seats on the flight.She told us...she went above and beyond to help us because she emailed us our documents, I just had to laugh at this point.I know when we travel next year, as we have been to many resorts, I'll be using a proper travel agency, not Patricia at CAA in Thornhill.RegardsBill

I am a member at CAA.I was very disappointed from the customer service I have received from Damage Control.I have been contacted by the supervisor Cindy Bokser.She was really not helpful and not even trying to understand the situation that happened to my car.She was not accepting my reasons in such an indifferent way and non caring way that I did start questioning the promotion process of CAA when it comes to promoting their representatives to a management position.Very unsatisfied.

Excellent service, thank you very much for your help and assistance!!!!! Yesterday we had a flat tire on a highway, far from home. CAA came to rescue very fast, delivered the car to our shop from Burlington to Toronto and got us home also. We are so grateful. Not sure what we would do without CAA! God bless you CAA guys!!!

I phoned several times to talk with a travel agent to arrange a flight, hotel and rental car. The lines were always busy, so I gave up.

The security guard who was working over the weekend should be fired from his job , we went there to check out the office, he was rude and passing obscene remarks.Watch out for that security guard as he doesn’t know how to talk to people.
