Was grateful to find an opened establishment on Christmas Day. Walked in and was quickly seated at a table of our choice. The place was decorated for the holidays which created a cozy & warm ambiance.The service was good, they were short staffed so the food did take longer to arrive at the table but the host would come by and keep us updated as we waited.The general Tao was tasty, the rice that accompanied it competed the dish. This chicken was perfectly crispy and had the right amount of sauce. The only thing was that the chip that the chicken was presented on was deep fried in oil which may have been used to fry other items as it gave a off-putting taste. However, the main part of dish was tasty.The chicken teriyaki arrived sizzling! The flavour itself was tasty & the portions was great.Overall, I recommend it! The menu featured a variety of dishes which were unique.

I had the pork belly, chicken pho, veg summer rolls, basil beef. The chicken pho and basil beef are secret menu items.As a Vietnamese person, I can tell you that the food here is fusion. Which is fine, but understand that the recipe has been altered.The pork belly skewers were good. It captured the spirits of thịt xiên nướng well. The flavor was actually respectable, sure not authentic but worth a try, and if it was the only item I ordered I would have given this restaurant 5 stars. I would come back for these. Due to the quality of these skewers, I suspect their Bún chả Hà Nội would be delicious as well, however it was sold out so I cannot be 100% sure.The basil beef was also decent. It tastes similar to other Thai basil beef I have had in the past, but it wasn’t outstanding. It didn’t wow me, and given the prices a bit steeper I think my Vietnamese fellows would expect more.The chicken phở was sad. I honestly didn’t have the heart to tell the guy working there that it was sad. I actually took a photo of the chicken phở and sent it to my mom. She suggested that the restaurant should stop serving it. I understand that it is a fusion recipe but there are some ground rules you never break. For example, never put the entire rind of the lime inside your soup. The rind has a bitter taste and it will taint your soup. The broth also does not capture the flavours of phở gà broth.Another complaint is the dishes should be cleaned better. My water glass had some things floating in it…

Had a late Saturday night dinner. It was great service, and very tasty dishes. Not sure what happened to my appetizer, I didn't know there was problem, until I got an extra pint of beer to apologize. That is great service. If you order for delivery, use the GetItLocal app. Worth visiting or ordering.

My girlfriend and I stopped by between classes for a late brunch after the outdoor menu caught her attention and entered expecting the usual all-day breakfast routine. WE couldn’t have been more wrong! We ended up having an amazing meal and shared stories with the owner the entire time! We felt completely taken care of and it was refreshing to hear someone talk about a business they care so much about! Do yourself a favour and GET THE WAFFLES! I opted out this time and watched in envy as my partner dined on the most beautiful stack of waffles I’ve ever seen, we ended up thanking the chef personally because of how impressed we were! Seriously, this place might be one of the best hidden brunch spots in the city and we will certainly be back to take on their lunch menu! Easily one of the best lunch spots we’ve been to in a while :)

My first time coming to this local restaurant and impressed! Liked the food and the venue. Ordered summer rolls, rice and salmon curry! Both were yum. Staff were nice! Waiting time is a bit of a concern but the quality of the food worth the wait! Probably will come to try something different!

Worst dinning experience and Asian food ever had. 1. Restaurants is setting up for a private party, the desk is keep moving and the door is always open, frozen wind coming in, freezing inside the restaurant. 2. Order two dishes and takes more than 40 mins to cook two simple dish. 3. Pad Thai is salty and the noodle broken into very little pieces and stick all together 4. Chicken rice plate, not sure chicken is marinated wrong or what, taste weird. Will not ever go again.

I love the location as it’s at Lansdowne Ottawa which is downtown. Even though the size of the restaurant is average, the interior decorations are very aesthetic and good in the eyes. My friend ordered Sizzling Teriyaki Steak with rice and the serving was huge! It was good too. I ordered the Ginger Chicken with rice and vegetables and I loved it!Enjoy the video.

I liked this place, I think most reviews have it right. Although allegations of racial slurs should be taken seriously. That's unacceptable if true.I've been here twice, both times prior to sporting events and I think that it has a lot of potential. The staffing seemed to be short when I went both times and it definitely was hectic. The main manager is inexperienced, and it shows. One time we were alone with nobody else in the restaurant, the other time it was packed. So a good sample of two trips.The food, and the beer specials are good. I liked the meal. One comment is the giant hoop they have hanging up, I don't really understand it and it's quite weird, at least in my view. Perhaps they use it for something but it just didn't fit the vibe.

Good news: the Sen Asian Cuisine restaurant at Lansdowne has reopened. The food is even more delectable than the photo shows you. Open from 7 am to 11 pm every day and open till 2 am on Fridays and Saturdays. This is a family run business that we are pleased to heartily recommend, both for breakfast and for lunch and dinner. And all of this with great prices.
