Crock A Doodle Stoney Creek

We had a wonderful experience today at Crock A Doodle. Our 11 month old had a blast painting, including painting herself lol.The women working, forgive me can’t remember her name, was so helpful, friendly, professional, and warm that made to experience that more enjoyable. We will definitely be back as they have so many wonderful thing to paint, and enjoy for many years. Everyone need to try Crock A Doodle once and you’ll love it!

Be it a girls get together, a child's party or if you just really love ceramics, then this is the place you wanna check out. Affordable, fun and the best part is you are the artist. Cost effective and truly a great place to allow your creative side to run loose. One of my favourite places to come and destress.

Took my niece and her friends here a few months ago and washrooms really were dirty, the owner seemed unhappy to be there and so we sadly we won't return. Service was only ok, not what I expected for how much money you pay to paint a pre-made item. The one in Burlington was great, will go back to that one next time

The staff was amazing at accommodating my larger group for a girls' day birthday celebration. Staff were patient and kind and everyone got a piece they loved within their budget. A great option for a girls' day!

We didn’t make a reservation, but I did try to call multiple times through out the day. (We arrived at 3:30pm)We were asked if we would be done painting in one hour, even though other people came in as a walk-in, and weren’t asked to have a time limit of one hour.. we were seated by the door so could hear conversation of other customers..We were asked if it was our first time visiting, and we said yes. And we were told to chose our pottery and that was it. Yet other customers who came in, were asked if they were first timers, and we then again listened in on the full detailed step by step process that happens here - (was shown the different paints, shown the kilns, the process of what they do to, how long it takes) we were just directed to the front table. Wondered why we weren’t explained the same information as everyone else. I had to ask for the other selection of paints, and if we got a cup of water to wash the brushes? Or how that works.And then we were told you use one brush per paint colour. I wouldn’t have known, we’ve never been here before.When other customers came in, even walk ins, we were looked at right away to see if our children were done painting.I then said “we’re almost done. We only have a few minutes left” because we were clearly being watched for our one hour to be up… so the next people walking in could have our spots.I just felt very rushed, like we were being an inconvenience for being a walk in, even though there were others… we were rushing our children 7 and 5 years old, so the time didn’t seem happily spent and the experience wasn’t very pleasant. We were helping them to move quicker, and trying to make the time fun for them as we were out for the day.. but spending $80 on 2 pieces and not enjoying it fully didn’t feel right. I would love to come back and try painting again, not just for the kids but for us adults as well, but maybe another location, (we drove a half hour) and I’ll book a reservation so we’re not an inconvenience.

Nice place. Very clean, polite staff. Lots of options for ceramics to paint over. It takes a week to pick up the final product. Birthday party room is available there. However it is small and narrow. If kids wanted to run around - it is not the place for that. It is more for sitting down, painting a piece, having snacks and cake and leaving. It would best suit for a girls parties ages 7 and up rather than boys parties or mixed groups. We were scared that our boys will knock something over the entire time we were there. But overall a good experience. I would go again. Was fun.PS dear staff, plz collect the paints back into jars far away from customers sight. Reusing/ recycling is great for sure. But makes clients feel so sad for you squeezing drops back into bottles. Despite this tiny aspect, this is a great place to go with kids!

This has become a family tradition! The staff are friendly, helpful and patient. The service is excellent and the time spent together enjoying and sharing our creativity is so precious.

This was a super fun activity with my daughter. We went pre pandemic when she was a baby and made some cute gifts and just went back recently again, she’s three now, and made a couple things together. She loved it and they turned out great. She made a free plate thing as part of the birthday club too. The staff were helpful and friendly, and our stuff was ready to pick up in less than a week. Photo edited to cover her name.

Fantastic place with fantastic people working there!Super fun for anyone that enjoys being creative. They have so many different pieces of pottery to choose from with a whole bunch of different colours of paint to pick from. There seems to be a lot of pretty standard pieces as well as different seasonal pieces. Prices are marked on the individual pieces which includes everything involved. There are no time limits to painting your items. We were there for about 2 hours!The staff are really helpful with any questions you may have and are extremely patient. They are really busy and always doing something or setting up but still take the time to check in with customers to see if everything is going well or if you need more paint.Overall I will definitely be going back for more. Not only is this place great for kids, its great fun for any age!I cant wait to see what our items look like after they are glazed and fired!
