Fantastic concept. Culinary arts students prepare the food. Service is impeccable and staff are fun but professional. Food is delicious and the presentation is 5 star! Prices are super affordable. Lunch for 2 with a drink, appetizer, entree and dessert was only 66.00 with tax!

Hostesses are very nice. It’s actually a culinary lab for students at NAIT so the staff can’t take tips. It costs 24 per person to have all the sample sized appetizers, main course, tapas and desserts.Some are served when upon availability.

HIDDEN GEM! The best place I have ever eaten. Very affordable!****update******went back for my birthday dinner last night, again the food was top notch and the service was amazing! I highly recommend that everyone books a time and comes here

Always an enjoyable experience. The students are friendly, sometimes nervous but they're doing their best. Dishes are unique. Not perfected but you can see where they are going with the dish. Lots of interesting flavors and combinations. Service is excellent. The desserts are better than any in the city in my view.

Came for Connie Desousa Chefs residency dinner which was also out first time at Ernest's. The four course meal and wine pairing were unbelievable. Probably the best fine dining experience we've ever had at this price point.Each dish was delicious, presented impeccably and was a large portion. The service was also great and came often to check in and refill my water.Needless to say we've been checking their website regularly for the next event.This is a must try for all Edmontonians and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Food = Not bad. Lower your expectation, then you will have more satisfying dishes than I did.Service = Great although I found the frequency of our server checking up on us way too much - almost disrupting conversations.Wine selection = Extensive

The food was amazing and portions were very generous. The complimentary puff pastry appetizer and strawberry sorbet palate cleanser was also very nice. Our main entrees (bison prime rib and lamb shank) was very flavourful and tender. Having a dessert cart to display the featured dessert was a nice touch. Made it hard to decided upon just one!

Excellent evening out. The restaurant was quiet and had a good ambience. Servers and hostesses were all polite, knowledgeable, and friendly.It was pretty cool - the Friday I went the culinary students were starting to do live table preps for salads and deserts, and made special cakes for sale.Also cool that they walked around and asked for honest feedback about how the meal and everything was.Will definitely be back!

My daughter is in the baking program, so I invited my friend to be here to try the foods. Everything is great.
