Norwich Home Hardware Building Centre
I tried placing an order on line, phone and desktop, The checkout was not working, I called the store, and gave them my order, BUT they would NOT take my credit card over the phone!!! Who doesn't take credit cards over the phone!!! I work out of town and won't be able to make it to pick my my order. I had arrangements to pick the order up. Had to cancel my order VERY frustrating.

They're a smaller location but they carry mostly everything you need for quick fixes, emergencies and small projects. The staff are very friendly and have helped me make buying decisions on many occasions. Sometimes the lumber is even worth buying since you may spend the difference in price on the gas driving to another lumber store. When buying 10 ft lengths, it was worth the price getting it down the street instead of half an hour away once the weight/gas/convenience was accounted for.

What an amazing staff this store has!! I went in to buy a BBQ today and I assumed it would be in a box so I wasn’t prepared to discover it was already built (it was the last one in a 100 mile radius). Anyway, I kinda panicked because it was just me but I was driving a pickup truck - thank god. The guys at the back were soo nice and told me they would load it and tie it down for me…no problem. Talk about over and above which is unheard of these days! Even the ladies at the checkout were awesome! I highly recommend this store! Great prices and fantastic staff!

This is a local store to me. I do my VERY BEST to spend my money here and support my local economy.However.When I go to the store and they have very little in stock. I went looking for a simple pair of cold air return vents, a recessed ceiling light, and some hinges.They had ONE of each size vent... ONE of each vent!!! ONE recessed light to choose from!!! Really nothing for hinges on the colour I needed!!!Hate to have to go out of town. But, I have to!!!Update... they have done great during COVID.. they are really trying.2nd update. They are really trying!!

The staff is always friendly and super helpful. The hours could be a bit better. If they were open on Sunday I would have given 5 stars.
