Talbots

I generally love Talbots, good quality merchandise (for the most part). During the pandemic I ordered some items online without realizing they came from the US, so I had to pay duty. Never again! My biggest issue is the lack of inventory - I see lovely things in the catalog but when I get to the store most items, or colours, are not available, a wasted trip. I will phone in the future to save some gas!

What a blast for me!!! Bought some beautiful clothes and 75 % off the regular price!!!Elegant, excellent quality, beautiful colors and amazing service will make you feel like shopping during pandemic days can be simple pleasure.

Was at Sherway last night to see what Talbots had so my could use my $20 gift. I’m not impressed with the new puffy sleeved style of tops this season, they are very juvenile.On top of that, we had just come from the One-of-Kind craft sale where all of the vendors were so pleasant, friendly and welcoming. So eager to help.Considering we were the only two in the store, we both found the salespeople rude and unhelpful.This does not entice me to go back in a hurry and I’ve been a Talbots shopper for over 40 years.Such a disappointment.

I love Talbot's clothes. The quality is incomparable with other brand in a same price range; however, last time I was in this location I had a bad experience. I would go there again, since I love the brand, but I need to write this review as well.My Experience:I wanted to return two items that it was not what I wanted and a sale assistant , who might be supervisor or at least it was my assumption, gave me an attitude which was not professional nor expectable.I had planed to buy a jacket, which worth more or same, but after her unprofessional behaviour, I left the store. I do not know whether the Talbots pays a commission to its employees, but I am not going to give a credit to someone who does not know how to handle a very simple task with a smile or politely. Being friendly would not kill anyone, and if you are in a position that you need to deal with customers the min requirements in being professional and not rolling your eyes.

Worst shopping experience in this store. The sales lady won’t let us take the cloth off the hanger said it’s their store policy, first time ever a cloth store woundnt allow customer to take cloth off the hanger. The sales lady even threat to call security.

I love Talbots and I am so happy they are here in Canada. I phoned in to ask if they received any shoes in this year and was told in a snarky voice that they haven't carried them for 10 years. I am up north so I cannot travel to this store whenever. I did not appreciate the rudeness and it was not called for. I know they stopped selling their shoes in their Canadian stores but policies do change and I was just checking to see. I give these guys one star for telephone manner and 5 stars for their clothing lines. Love Talbots - just need to shift out the 10 year old garbage.

Took advantage of the end of season sale and was able to purchase a number of well made items at a reasonable cost. Love, love, love this location as it has plus sized clothes.

I had a great experience shopping at this location. Unfortunately, the inventory wasn't top-notch due to not too many smaller jeans sizes, but this is not the fault of the staff...with a 25% sale on the whole store, of course they are going to sell a lot of items.I was helped by Luz Maria with so much care and attention, she really made my day. So supportive, this is the kind of customer service that makes me happy to go into Talbots even if I'm not crazy about their Spring line this year. Thank you Luz Maria, and I hope I can come back to this location closer to Christmas when the inventory is a bit more exciting in my opinion :)

Such a disappointing shopping experience now. Merchandise is not as classy as it once was , sizing is not consistant and quality now inferior. . Top that off with rude sales staff in an almost empty store , there’s little point shopping here..
