Arrived at 630, but they’re closed? Gorgeous day out (which was in the forecast) Sign and google say open till 7pm. 1 additional make shift sign says todays last 1hr boat ride is at 5pm. We’re a family that doesn’t get to take much time off of work. Our 3 year old was pretty disappointed. We all were.

Guys at dock at useless didn’t even bother give instructions or hold the boat while i was seating and i fell in water. They didn’t gave a hand to pull me out on the dock or helped me anytime, they are totally useless standing there. Worst experience ever, 0 for safety for someone who can’t swim.

This modest park is a beautiful place to just relax. In addition to the benches and picnicking areas there is a trail which will take you around the entire lake. You can also rent boats to enjoy some time with family and friends on the water. Ample parking is available as are public restrooms.We didn't have time to get to the boat rentals but they had ample boats available and lots of friendly staff there to assist. Those that did rent seemed to have a good time.

We booked a 2-3 person canoe for two people and our dog (~20 lbs). We brought our own life jacket for our dog and she enjoyed watching the scenery around the lake!1 hour is more than enough if you plan to boat around Deer Lake. There's not a whole lot to explore but it was an enjoyable experience.

Great experience, theyre super busy weekends but on the hottest day of the year it was a great way to spend the day and our anniversary weekend. We love deer lake and they have LOTS of boats for everyone.More people.need to stay out of the wildlife sanctuary side but the markers aren't clear and they don't give a boundary run down before you head out. Not even sure if it is off limits but the website said it was so we stayed out.

Great place to spend a fun and relaxing time with family and friends. There are different boats to choose from. The crew is so helpful and friendly. They’ll help you by providing instructions, assist you to get on and off the boat and Answer Que’s you may have.

It was great. However some rowing boats have one of their oars connections are a bit broken which makes rowing a bit hard. I still loved it as well as my little daughter.

Beautiful lake. Geese, ducks,gulls & fish. Beautiful flora especially the water lilies. I DON'T RECOMMEND THE PEDAL BOATS AT ALL!!! They are extremely difficult to peddle and or stear. We wished we had rented canoes or kayaks. When we go back...and we will... that is the plan.
