I've had to call Harris Plumbing three times in a year due to some shoddy work that was completed by the previous homeowner. Each instance they've been on time, professional and friendly. They do solid work and don't overcharge.Harris Plumbing has dispatched Terry twice and he's absolutely solid, fair and has a professional sense of humour. Nothing like an expert to make you feel at ease when explaining complex issues. I highly highly recommend Harris Plumbing.

Right from my initial call to book an estimate Felicity was very helpful, she set N appointment for technician Terry to come out the very next day. Terry was on time, polite and took the time to answer all my questions. Very professional service. Keep up the great work,.

Replaced our water softener and added a filtration system, serviced hot water tank, added a pressure gauge, replaced water main shut off, assessed and replaced all plumbing shut off valves. Replaced washing machine hose. They assessed and took care of all drains before they could become problems.

I am new to Barrie, read the excellent reviews on this company and called at 3 pm on a Thursday afternoon when I was concerned my sump pump was failing. The website indicates they are available 24 hours. The message stated they would return calls and that “Harris clients” would be dealt with preferentially. I did not receive a callback in an hour so I recalled and there was no live answer. It is now 4 days later and I still have not received a callback. I called another plumbing company who were at my house within an hour and problem solved.

Harris Plumbing has done several jobs for me at both my home and cottage. Their products are reliable and service associates are knowledgeable and friendly. Office management is excellent in both the booking process and follow up.I am a loyal customer and highly endorse them for any plumbing job you may have.

My kitchen sink decided to not drain anymore! Phoned Harris Plumbing and had a plumber show up within 3 hours! Got all my drain pipes cleaned out within 2 hours!My kitchen drain pipes have quite a few bends and no air vents so they have to be cleaned out through a basement ceiling vent. John was thoroughly professional and did an amazing job without leaving any mess behind on my basement cork flooring. Cannot compliment this company enough. I would definitely recommend them.

WRONG ADVICE GIVEN COST ME $2K & HARRIS UNWILLING TO PAY A DIME! I had Harris Plumbing come and look at my pressure tank for dug well which was coming on every 10 min or so as pressure dropped below 40psi even when water not turned on. The service guy came and pressurized the system inside the house and the tank was fine (determined not leaking at the pressure tank inside the house). We went outside to the dug well expecting to see bubbles coming up in the well outside but nothing there either. The tech advised me that the ONLY possible solution was to dig up the line between the house and the well as he said there HAD to be a leak/break in the line between house and well. He said it would cost in the neighbourhood of $8k and i would be better to hire somebody myself - which I did just 5 days later. After renting excavator and digging up my yard for about 25' no leak was found at all! Complete waste of time. Having no faith in the advice I was given by Harris, I contacted another plumbing company and they diagnosed the problem as most likely a faulty check valve in the well on the pump. They came 3 days later and repaired it - problem now solved by replacing check valve on pump in well! Beyond me why Harris would not have checked that first and pulled up the pump from the well to inspect it but rather advised me to dig up the entire line looking for a leak! Now Harris is unwilling to accept any responsibility for the wrong advice given to me to dig up my yard and I am stuck with the $2k in expenses I incurred (bargain compared to what I was told it would cost at $8k). VERY disappointed. I hired what I thought was a professional company to diagnose and repair my problem, they gave me wrong advice which I acted on and the advice was wrong.

Roy and his apprentice were very professional. Roy explained the problem and what was required to fix it. Amazing Company to do any plumbing job. Will use them again if ever needed!
