I've been going to eat there for over 30 years and have never been ignored. Today was horrible and I won't be back. I was giving a menu and tea, the hostess said the waitress will be with you shortly. A couple came in and sat at a table, got drinks, their food ordered and got their soup. Another guy came in and got a order in to go, received his order and walked out. (Needless to say there were only 3 tables occupied, so the were not busy at all) 15 minutes later I still didn't even get to order anything at all. Poor service to say the least.

First time trying Peking Gardens even though I've lived in GF for years. I honestly was expecting to be disappointed and I'm not sure why, other than I haven't had much luck in the past with other GF Chinese restaurants. But I was ecstatic to be pleasantly surprised and proven wrong! My sweet and sour chx plate combo (No.1) was amazing! Great egg drop soup and I even loved the spring roll which I'm typically not a fan of. I couldn't stop eating! Delicious! My husband tried a completely new dish to him (pad thai) by recommendation of our waitress and he had no regrets. The atmosphere was calm and quiet as we went an hour before closing. Staff were very kind. Seating area itself feels outdated but it's what I'm used to so didn't bother us. It's on our return-to restaurant list!!

The food is fine, but certainly not the best in town.We've been twice, thinking the excessive wait the first time was a fluke, but it's happened twice now.After 40 minutes the waitress came back and said the kitchen was starting our food, and had been cleaning. The two other only tables got food during that time.Save your money and time. This place requires the patience of a saint, and the food isn't worth the wait when it finally comes.

Been a weekly customer for years. There can be issues w food or service, but generally food is v good and service also. Thai dishes are fav of mine. Suggestion to owner: food is better n more consistent since price increases, adding select photos and descriptive narrative to menu would be very helpful in making selections.

The quality has gone way down over the years and the prices are way up. Service isn't anything special either. It's run down and really needs a good deep cleaning.
