Eryn Price has been absolutely fantastic through my double mastectomy recovery. She is incredibly professional and sensitive to my individual needs and requirements. Eryn has a deep understanding of the physical aspects of a mastectomy and has been an emotional support too. Initially, I didn't know what to expect as I didn't know Eryn, and felt vulnerable to anyone working on my scars, but Eryn immediately put my mind at ease and worked around the scars for the first session, and then after that, in other sessions, I felt confident enough for her to touch the scars. Eventually, I felt confident with my chest area, for her to work through the scar tissue. Eryn played a major role with her advice and understanding of how I felt through this experience. She is experienced and highly knowledgeable in mastectomy massage, and is also very compassionate with what I had been through from the surgery both on a physical level and an emotional one too. Eryn's massage space is welcoming, warm and creates a relaxed environment as soon as you walk in. Immediately, I felt very at ease and the whole sessions just fly by. I highly recommend Eryn as a mastectomy RMT as she is a wonderful specialist in this field. The best.

It is the leading and most comprehensive training that exists in the field of breast massage, full of valuable and necessary information for clients and therapists alike.

Eryn has been so instrumental in my recovery, not only is she amazing at her practice, but she also is an amazing sounding board who truly cares what her patient(s) have been through, and are coping with. She has been able to help me with my lymphedema, not only by lymph drainage massage, but also by recommending compression sleeves and how to manage my edema when at home. I was referred to Eryn by my long time RMT. I recently had surgery and due to being home during the Covid pandemic, I was unable to seek my usual massage care. Regardless though, I would suggest self-massage education for everyone post-operation. Eryn provided virtual support to teach me self-massage techniques supporting my education, providing demonstration and giving feedback. Eryn is a gifted educator. She taught me the basic physiology of the area, explained the reason for various areas/levels of massage, and provided demonstration throughout. Eryn provided a plan for self-massage that was effective and achievable. In just a few sessions, this self-massage is making the world of difference in my pain levels, day to day functioning, and mental wellness. Eryn is also talented at connecting the psycho-social supports to physical healing supports. She is able to connect our physical healing to daily life, longer term outcomes, and the realities of our new bodies. Eryn is focused on her patient care providing care and humour along the way. If you are faced with breast cancer/mastectomy or have friends or family in that situation, I really recommend checking Eryn out for her supportive and holistic health focussed practice. She has a strong, positive way of being that made all the difference to my healing and resilience. Her proactive strategies set me up to get through the stressful times and move steadily forward to the better ones. Eryn helped me through my mastectomy with such skill, compassion and humor, and I know that my outcome was much better because of my time with her.
