Central Animal Hospital

We took our dog here in an emergency when she ate raisins. On a stat holiday at 10pm. They treated our girl so well, you could tell they truly love animals, they fixed her up, sent us home with charcoal, and even followed up a few days later to see how she was doing. Though this is not our regular clinic I'm sure that they would be an excellent regular clinic

When our dog woke up with a face and eye swollen twice the size, were were extremely concerned. Our regular vet could not see us so referred us to Central Animal Hospital. Kristin the vet tech who took our call was very kind and booked an appointment that morning for us. When we arrived atthe clinc we were seen right away by Dr. Miguel Caminos. He was very kind and gentle with our Labrador and assessed and treated the issue quickly. The following day he personally called us to make sure that our dog was doing better and later the same day we received another phone call from the veterinary clinic asking if we had any further questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this Animal Hospital.

I was beyond impressed with the kindness and compassion shown by the staff at Central Animal Hospital. I cannot say enough about how they made our visit comfortable and I will be using them for all of my future veterinary needs. Staff is exceptional!

Very caring and professional staff.. Listened to my concerns and worked with me to make it affordable for me.. Treated my dog lovingly..Sadly, my son had to bring his cat in after he passed a blood clot.. They took him right away.. Were amazing and compassionate.. Explained everything to him clearly.. Made a sad situation a little bit easier.. I would very much recommend them..

Rosie needed emergency care right away. The staff there took her with loving care. They assured us she would be immediately examined. We were happy with the results the next day. We couldn't be happier with the loving care she got.

We enjoyed a great vet visit with Dr. Miguel at Central Animal Clinic for our yearly wellness checkup, shots and tick meds. Dr. Miguel was very thorough and kind and sensitive with my dogs. He seems to really enjoy his job and his patients. We have been bringing our pets to Central Animal for over 40 yrs. Our experience has always been so positive. I had a great first time emergency vet visit at the central vet hospital in Kamloops. I’m a travel nurse and they welcomed Jerry (cat) and I with kindness. They are also very informative and helpful with problem solving for my cat.

I have brought my dogs here before in the past with never any issue, as soon as doctor, louise left this place has gone right down hill. The staff are very arrogant, and the young veterinarian lady seem's to barely know how to do her job. She is good at charging you an arm and a leg though like when i brought my red nose pitbull in for a hemotoma ear drain they charged me 600 bucks, and when i called to book the appointment they told me you got to call a month in advance never in my time have i ever heard such a thing. Very disgusted with the way they treat you and your pet here. I called my mothers vet and asked him how much it should cost really and they told me it should of been only half not even 600 bucks i feel ripped off and and disrespected never again will i allow this establishment ever take me for a ride like that again. And i highly believe in karma what goes around comes around.
