Having Jonathan as a vocal coach has been one of the most positive experiences I've had in a long time. His experience, education, and certainly his adaptability in terms of how his students learn best, just starts the list of reasons why he is an excellent investment in my singing goals.He listens, offers examples, anecdotes, and practical exercises to truly enhance the learning experience.I'm looking forward to continuing to learn from Jonathan and the Lys-Lion Music and Tutoring school.

J'ai commencé à suivre des cours de chant avec Jonathan il y a un mois et je suis très satisfait. N'ayant que très peu d'expérience en musique, j'étais initialement nerveux à l'idée de chanter devant une autre personne, mais l'approche pédagogique et humaine de Jonathan m'a immédiatement mis en confiance. Sa grande expérience ainsi que sa façon d'expliquer rendent les cours très intéressants et instructifs. Finalement, la possibilité de faire les cours à distance et en français ou en anglais est aussi un gros avantage.Je le recommande comme professeur autant pour les anglophones que pour les francophones.

I’ve been doing lessons with John now for about a month and I’m already noticing a lot of improvement in my singing. He breaks concepts down in a very easy to understand way and has extensive knowledge to share with anyone who is trying to improve their singing.

Jonathan is an awesome vocal teacher. He and I have been working together since the fall and I have already seen a lot of improvement in my voice. In fact, I'm planning to do an open mic for the first time this April. I owe a lot of the personal improvement and confidence towards this decision to my lessons here with Jonathan. Looking forward to continued growth and development to my vocals in our lessons!
