The new management is taking great care of the store and the customers. Lokman is the most helpful butcher I have ever seen. Aljazeera is my most trusted store for imported fish from Bangladesh, lamb and goat meat. In fact, I do not buy fish, goatmeat or lamb from any store in Ottawa apart from AlJazeera. Give this store a try, you will hang on to them forever !

I love this place! I come in here all the time to pick things up. They are really well-stocked, always help me to find what I need, and have introduced me to some new items that I now love. Very reasonably priced as well. Extremely friendly service, can't say enough positive things about the staff.

Meat here was a little pricey but freshly cut and halal. The owner and the one who was giving meat were very nice people. We chatted a bit until my meat was cut. All kinds of spices were available. Frozen chicken samosa, samosa sheets etc. A lot of food products were available. I recommend you to visit here during Ramadan. I am definitely visiting here again.

Loving re-vamped and re-organized, this delightful market has a variety of imports unavailable elsewhere. The Tunisian Beef Sausages are incredible. Staff is quick to help and want to ensure you have everything you need!

Great store to get my meat. The people and butcher working here are great, and the new customer service guy at the front is great. He always has a smile and gives candy after purchase. So sweet.

Lukman is class act butcher, cleaned the meat perfectly for me. Veal was amazingly tender and reasonably priced.

The cashier women made a rude comment about me using my visa to pay. So many businesses closed during the pandemic due to lack of customers, you would think they would appreciate the small clientele they have. I would have never thought paying with my visa would result in me never going there again. I do not recommend.
